When Summer said she felt he's got more of a mature vibe in this song. I was shocked. I must say, summer is really intelligent. She really said what Yoongi himself said. You guys are right about the sophisticated and mature vibe thing coz he said in an interview that with this album he felt that he has grown a lot as a person in a good way and that he no longer has got that anger and hatred he used to have for all the haters and antis. Lyrics are always up for interpretation, but knowing how thorough Yoongi is, I am 100% certain the English lyrics are written this way on purpose and not because he's not fluent in English. "Time is yet, right now, here to go. Nobody doesn't know anymore." I think he wrote it this way to illustrate how the pandemic made him (and us) feel lost and discombobulated. Time meant nothing anymore. Just like the English lyrics in which the meaning isn't clear, time became all jumbled up; hours became days and weeks that seemed to have no beginning or end, but at the same time felt incomplete and strangely pieced together.

This isn't the first time that Suga has collaborated with IU. Back in 2019, Suga featured on one of IU's songs called "Eight". It's a really beautiful song that I think you'd like as well. Last week, Suga did an interview on IU's Pallete, which is sort of talk-show IU does with other artists. J-Hope went on it as well. But that would be a fun video for you guys to react to as well. Suga and IU talk about their collaborations, both "Eight" and "People Pt. 2", and we got the first live performances of both songs, plus the original "People". Wow, did Suga shock me with his vocals there. But it was a really great interview. I hope you guys check it out one day.

I am glad you guys caught onto the chorus and it being double/triple negatives. There have been a lot of people who have been sending hate to it, because they couldn't understand it. There is this comment I found from another ARMY that I really liked so I want to share it: (From mimii) It makes me mad that people are hating on the chorus and saying it doesn't make sense. It does make sense! He just used double and triple negatives so it many look kinda confusing or messy at first but that's exactly what pandemic was for all of us. And we all know Yoongi is smart and does that kind of stuff in his own songs. My commentary: I can't wait for this album especially the one with Woosung because I love his voice. He is the lead singer in a band called, The Rose and he does solo stuff too. When Gabriel said it's intentional, he is right, because Yoongi has always been intentional. It's not just the double negative. It's the whole chorus. It sounds "gibberish" if you want to be honest. In fact, those of us Army who really like to pay attention to the lyrics had all sorts of discussion and analysis. There were those of us who admitted that we couldn't understand it, yet it sounds so good. Reminds me of the poet e.e. cummings who broke all conventions of grammar to prove a point. When you think it that way and realize that this was written during or about that time in the pandemic when we were all locked down, it might make more sense.

THE first impression we have about Yoongi is that he's a cold person, but a song like this confirm that it's the opposite... He's so intense in his feelings, he just doesn't know (or doesn't like) to show it. I felt Abby when she said I worked full time all Covid lockdown. Same here girl. I am a nurse. I stopped working after everything calmed down. I slept either in a janitors closet or in my garage the whole lockdown. 2 of my children have special needs and medical problems so I didn't want to share anything with them. By using ‘nobody’ instead of ‘everyone’, I like the way “nobody doesn’t know” gives off the feeling that even though everyone is on the same page and has the same understanding, we are all still alone and the knowledge didn’t bring us closer as a whole. I can relate to Abigail during pandemic i was still working hence i was an ER nurse.. In one of Yoongi interview he said that he wanted to try something different in his new album more mellow and soft music.. in the beginning the concept of the MV was different, he wanted IU to star in it, but she was very busy, so they changed it....interesting, what was the original idea. It's a very beautiful song... I love it so much. So apparently his album DDAY will drop on the 21st with ten songs this inclusive and will release two more mvs. So like you said Agust D is know for his raw aggressive rap and in the agust D lore this new album coming out is the last in the trilogy... In an interview he said he's finally at peace and it might be hard to see agust D again a version of him who was fueled by anger and wanted to reply the haters but now he says he feels no need to reply them and he's at peace with everything. In one of his interviews, he mentioned that BTS was all set to go on their last tour "Map of the Soul 2020 World Tour " and that after this tour, BTS members were going to start their military duties. But covid-19 hit and everything that was planned was put on hold. Min Yoongi and the rest of his BTS brothers were "at lost". But they pushed on and overcame the challenges...WITH ARMY!!!

I am stunned that you all didn't know IU. As Suga said on his podcast, you can't talk about KPOP without talking about IU. In 2014 the New York Times wrote that IU was showing the way forward for Kpop. And then in 2018 they did a article about Music's influence on culture and listed the top 25 artist who have had the biggest influence and IU was no. 9 on that list. Finally in Jan of last year Rolling Stone Magazine released an update to there list ofvthe 200 Greatest Singers of All Time. IU became the 1st Korean singer to make the list. I think you might like the language backround to the song: Suga said in a recent live that he originally wanted to call the song „사라“ [sara]. The reason for that is that he wanted to leave it to the listener if the song is about Love „사랑“ [sarang] or about People „사람” [saram].
