Sugalumps EP (Amiga jungle/rave)

Hey everyone!
This is my first EP made with ProTracker 2.3D, an Amiga program designed in 1990 to create music. I thought I'd do my first EP on the program to prove that even with limitations great music can still be made.
Software like this was used by a lot of rave/jungle acts and producers alike such as Aphrodite, Mickey Finn, Aphex Twin, The Prodigy etc along with several game soundtrack composers.

did you use the built in sounds in protracker or where did u get the samples? great work btw!

The majority of the samples I got from Amiga mods made by Celsius, Juice and Rexywood and I also used some drum break packs from Aminet. The vocal sample in Chicago Fires I got from Gronda Gronda's XM "The ABC" and the piano sample from Hit Em' was from a white label 12'' called Let the World Know by West 1. I'm going to get back into an Amiga, sold mine mid-late 90's, got some mid 90's Techno on my chan which I did via a DSS8+ and my record collection etc, I'm thinking of skipping the DSS8+ and creating my samples on a PC then saving them off as aiff? files for an Amiga which I may load via SD card into Digital Sound Studio? good plan or mental?

@@hackurrmusic Thank you, I'm going to use GoldWave on my PC to make the samples and using an Amiga with a new drive just pop them SD-card or whatever and then load them up into DSS8... hopefully one day soon :) cheers
