I Still love this song nearly 50 years going forward. I am sure young children would love this song if there parents play there hits on cd. I was 12 years old when this song came out.

alan has something sweet and soft around him. oh boy had i a crush on him girls i think liked him a lot. John the drummer is cute and funny. but the other members are also nice. and they are verry good in live. good voices a capella instruments etc. loved it and still do.

This is Paul DaVinci's voice.. Alan Williams can't sing this song. This video is on U Tube twice. Guitars aren't plugged in.. Alan loses his place and his mouth is closed when he's supposed to be singing. He has never had any vocal range.

you are totally wrong alan williams is great verry goodlucking and sings everything verry good instruments look at you tube then you hear. how good he can sing theire are a lot of old video's on you tube. he sings sugar baby love verry good all the members. alan deserves all the credits. Paul da vinci is only singing the studio version. alan is the real singer. Paul da vinci had a 😊😊😊 solo career. but also verry nice and good. but he is no alan but that is personal.😊

@@wesleycook7687 what ever. it is only the studio version. look at old video's alan sings live verry good high voice etc. they recorderd a new song with the voice of alan. alan deserves all the credits for this song his voice his llooks. but i agree Paul deserves it to. all the members of this group. alan williams performd almost all the songs he was is the leadsinger. i like him verry much. i think verry friendly. they still sing together even now several members of the group are gone. but others joint the group.

@@wesleycook7687 oh boy i no that for years. alan williams performed it live verry good. there are to records with paus voice later with alan. he is verry good other songs tonight juke box jive etc performer by sn sometimes john ore Tony but the most vocals are from alan williams. they are verry good. my brother saw alan and the others in Germany. alan performer everything live instruments etc. all the members performing everything live. verry good.

@@petradevries8839 You are wrong. The hit version and the number one record is Paul DaVinci. He also did the demo. What you have"known" for years is dead wrong. The demo was released by the songwriters, Bickerton and Waddington as a single because no band would take it. If Paul had known ,the song would have had his name on it and maybe the Rubettes but no Alan Williams. I repeat: Alan mimed all Paul's vocals from 74 to 86. In 86, Paul released a 3, 4 and 6 minute version of his song. No video on KZbin is Alan singing live. He's miming Paul DaVinci. It's been established, been to court and Paul has been paid back royalties and his name is on all new releases of Sugar Baby Love.. The " live" shows you speak of has singers ( usually female) doing the falsetto or high notes. Alan uses piped in vocals or Autotune. He cannot sing this song. He didn't sing Tonight either. That was Clare Torry. And Paul has never sang with Alan Williams. Take a look at Your Baby Ain't Your Baby Anymore by DaVinci. See the vocal range he has. Alan could never sing it.
