This plugin is insanely deep and insanely FUN. please never stop updating, there's nothing like it out there

Got it recently and love it for creating minimal/glitchy percussion. My favorite synth is Pigments, and Drum Computer feels like Pigments for drums. it's deep but very pliant and approachable, and it lets you do things your way.

I bought this and was not really able to understand how to use it as it is unique. I went to KZbin assuming that Doug from soundtestroom has a tutorial and he does indeed. I also saw this and it’s great..thanks. Top notch stuff.

Damn, Im really about to have so much fun with this synth. This is an incredible tool. I love how you included randomization and the ability to manually shift drums off the grid. Ive been looking for a drum synth like this for a while, its groundbreaking for me.

Those features are really nice.

It would be bad ass if you could apply probability to the modifiers as well, rather than just whether a hit occured in the sequencer. That would create a crazy amount of interesting variations. A probability feature underlying probability, Roll, Ofs, Dec. Ptch, etc. That would be freaking awesome.

Thanks! I saw there are patterns longer than one bar. How do you create them and how do you navigate between the different bars?

So there's no global tempo? If you want to slow down or speed up your beats to a specific tempo like you would with other drum machines?

As always brilliant, will there be a version for iOS, if so then how soon?

If this could sequence things outside of itself as well, I’d buy three. I’m worried about how I’m going to be able to make synths in sync with all of these amazingly unusual beats?

How do you string your different parts together (verse/chorus etc)? Drag and drop your beats and record your fills as automation?

I noticed there are only 16 steps on the sequencer. Can you place a note half way between these steps or are you limited to only 16 steps?

And also - how to save a pattern, how many patterns per kit can you save - and how do you toggle between them?

Is there any way to disable the sequencer and make it always just follow the DAW, even when changing presets?

This drummachine sounds simply amazing. I just wish that you guys added a simple trigger on off button to use the bottom row pads for track selecting and also make these midi mappable. Thats what is quick and intuitive and this also remove the extra row of buttons to create some more UI space. Because now there many really important buttons are really small and hard to quickly acces . This quickly removes the flow when working with it. quickly duplicating a pattern requires many window switching and pressing tiny buttons before you can get into the flow again. Duplicate current pattern should be a huge button in the main interface, And where is the record button for recording your own fingerdrumming? Hopefully you impove this amazing sounding synth.. Just rethink the UI and make it way more intuitive. Switching sounds also switches the faders, That shouldnt be happening. Switching sounds left right should be midi mappable. Not just randomize. Its almost impossible to switch a sound without accidentally tapping the sound category. Its looks great, it sounds great but you need to get a serious UI designer that actually has experience playing many drummachines. I am not trying to bash it. I really would like to see this become better andt intuitive in practice This experience is primarly on the iOS version. Thank you for considering my points.

Could you please do this for iOs version too. If it could be synced with iLink. That would be very fast and intuitive interface when used with Ableton Live and iPad Thank you..

Man…..the things you find while searching for something completely different! I was looking for cheesy Acetone drum emulators and found this app which really looks and seems like it has the same functionality as a Drumbrute or Digitakt in some aspects for a mere $30.

Is there any way to adjust the time signature? Or link to that set in the DAW?

Very great drum maschine, but sounds are too electronic. I'd like to have presets in differnt genres such as ambient,chillout...
@MathHammer4 жыл бұрын
Okay, probability is not really probability, which implies a certain degree of randomness. It is a step skip which, based on playing a bit with the sequencer, is deterministic. That is okay. A true probability per step as a parameter as for example Elektron sequencers would be really cool. We can't have everything though can we?

How do you change the BPM?
@SugarBytes Жыл бұрын
Tempo can be set via the File menu on top left, which contains all features and settings of the standalone application. If you are on macOS use the "Window" dialog on top left (after clicking "Tempo" there, it should open at the bottom of the DrumComputer Application). In order to enter the tempo in our iPad version just long press on the currently displayed tempo value in the BPM Control panel to be found in the settings page of DrumComputer. Please note that when using DrumComputer as a plugin within a DAW it will automatically match the tempo of your host. Best, Nadine
