I’ve been playing a lot with DC lately, I find it a really inspiring and playful app, like most sugarbytes stuff, with always their kind of weird sauce on top of it. Who needs another 808 or the like ? But it’s true that the kicks are quite frustrating. Enter your video and already things are better. Thanx a lot, it was just what I was looking for :)

Yea, I try my best to make it better. Thanks for noticing. Still a little off my personal vision, but we are getting there :D

Great video Florian. Hahah 100mhz bass for cats 😹 Good tutorial because i also think most of the kicks are not that great.

Nice! Thank you. You mentioned ‘other’ drumcomputers that are coming out. Are they by the same developer?
@FlorianRachor13 жыл бұрын
No we have currently FAC Drumkit by Frederic Corvest (Intro price 13,99$, releases 11.06 aka tomorrow), and Hammerhead by Bram Bos (releases 17.06, next Thursday, no price info yet) incoming. Two very interesting drum machines that release within a week :D. I thought it's a good time to check on Drumcomputer again.

@@FlorianRachor1 and don’t forget DrumLab which was released earlier this week. Costing only $3.99 it is a real good drummachine to check out as well and capable of doing a ton of stuff. I own DrumComputer and DrumLab and think that DL does an insanely good job in comparison to DC, but only for a small fraction of the price.

I must add though that DrumLab is not AUv3 and DrumComputer is! Huge plus ofcourse!

@@EdBMetal I agree, AUv3 is a must.

"Create a punchy kick with Drumcomputer" >proceed to get the punchiness from another drum synth's samples :( Still, a nice idea to boost at 100hz a little.

I mean fair, but it's about making something with Drumcomputer and those samples are available as a layer in the drumsound. It's three layers you can play with to get the sound you want. Complaining about software if you don't use the full potential doesn't make much sense, don't you think?
