Coincidentally I use DC and XO together. Because DC can send midi out to XO or anything else for that matter. Really cool software drum machine.

I've been using the sequencer in far too conventional of a way. I've been getting great sounds, but I've just been sequencing the old fashioned way and not taking advantage of all of these powerful tricks because I didn't take the time to learn how it all worked. This really opens up the possibilities. Nice tutorial. I love using drumcomputer for industrial drums and percussion, it sounds awesome. I usually make some sequences and then freeze them into audio and process them with all types of nasty distortions and filters/delays/reverbs...
@AlexReidStudios Жыл бұрын
Thanks! I do that too but bounce it to midi, I always think "what if I want to change the pattern?"... then never do that

Thanks for this. I love XO, bike you wanted more controll of the sounds. Recently have been using Reason 12 for 80s and 90s synth drum sounds. The Reason Drum Player is excellent, but being able to tweek the sounds is the main reason I use it (pun not intended.) Also the Umph Retro drums module is excellent.

Would have liked to watch you map each drum to individual tracks in your daw. I’m sure it’s simple to do. Sugar bytes has some great plug ins. Sonic charge also has one of a kind plug ins. Been looking at both companies that’s why I mentioned it.
@AlexReidStudios Жыл бұрын
Gonna check that other company. I can probably make a short video about the routing as it's really simple on Bitwig. Is literally two clicks besides the clicks inside DrumComputer

I find the synthesis part overwhelming but love the sequencer. Can this sequencer be used in the combination with TAL Drum? Or is there any powerful drum sequencer like this?

I have the Spark Arturia which varies the cutoff the pan and the velocity but no probability, Xo which has no probability, Groove agent which has no probability and an average interface and Playbeat3 which has almost all the qualities of Drumcomputer and Maschine Mikro too simplistic, I have not yet found the ideal drum machine .
