Hi Jennifer, I'm using the Puzzle Cotton yarn , which I purchased for another project that didn't work up the way I wanted it to. Its listed as a 4, to me its more like a 3. so I hope it works up nice, I also went up to a J hook. fingers crossed. I love how your scarf came out. Thanks for a great pattern. Betty P.

Oh, awesome! :) You just made my day. I can't wait to see what designs come in the next few months. I had one more question for you. I think I may have told you, but I am a blind crocheter. You do an excelent job describing how to do stitches. When you go into the foundation chain and you're putting your stitches into it to start the first row, where do you, personally, insert the stitches? In the videos, you will say to insert your hook into whatever chain, and I know there are different loops of the chain. Do you go into the top loop or back bump? In future videos, can you please describe what loop of chain you are going into for blind crocheters like myself? I'm sure the sighted folks would like too, just so they know they are doing it right. Keep up the awesome work. It is because of you that I learned how to make post stitches. I never understood them until your videos. You are one of my favorite crocheters.

Do you always have to chain 3 every time you turn to the next line???

And how do you get the colors to be perfect from one into another and then continue with a different color at the end?
@GrandmaLM11 ай бұрын
to color control you cut the yarn if there is not enough yarn to make another row and start the next. It makes for some waste.
@josiekowatch295311 ай бұрын
@@GrandmaLM thank you so much maybe the waste that we get from the yarn I can make tassels a different colors.
@josiekowatch295311 ай бұрын
I see that you start from the outside of the yarn instead of the inside why is that? Because I was always told to start in the inside middle of the yarn???

I am thinking the for you are starting usted the cakes depending of what colors you will like bettter the thing is not very important ti crochet i knitting anything
@lauraarce603711 ай бұрын
There's not a rule on where to start using your yarn, it's really, however works for you.
@eileencarlson427611 ай бұрын
The yarn band is still on the cake so she can’t be pulling from the outside, but there is yarn wound around the yarn band. I think she may have made a swatch, then ripped it out and wound it around the cake which makes it look like she’s pulling from the outside but really isn’t. She even mentioned it was a center pull cake; but like someone else said, it really doesn’t matter which end you use.
@theastewart672111 ай бұрын
I think it’s all just a matter of personal preference.😊
@mariaturton918511 ай бұрын
I look at the color and decide which color I want to start with. So if the color I want to start the project with is inside, I start with the center pull, and if the color I want to start with is on the outside, I start with the outside. It all depends on the color, so it's a personal choice. If the yarn is a solid color, i start with the center pull always. I find it easier to work.
