Sugarpill Fun size 🐱palette | First impression and swatches

When you pulled out that pink (Ballet), I was like, "YES!!!" 🤩 This look turned out so pretty! 😍 💖 BTW.. 8-bit refers to a measure of computer information, particularly in an era when slower storage & processing power made graphics less clear/pixelized/ low-resolution, & sound was very simplistic (think of the dinky music from the Mario Brothers game). We're talking early 1970's to late 80's when games were played on the old Atari & Nintendo systems, so yes, this was before your time for sure. I'm not into gaming myself or anything, but I remember when my brother's friend would bring his Atari to our house, hook it up to our TV, & all of us having a blast playing the old Pac-Man, Indiana Jones "Raiders of the Lost Ark" game, & the original Mario Brothers when it came out. Not fancy by any means compared to today's realistic graphics & sound, but we thought it was the coolest thing back in the day. I find it very interesting that many modern-day gamers seek out some of these classic games & actually prefer them over current offerings. Maybe it's nostalgia playing a role or something. 😊 💖

@@amphetameanqueen, I'm about 6 months away from that milestone birthday! And yes, I remember Windows 95, & lots of the DOS stuff before Windows existed. My brother had an old Commodore 64, & I remember playing Pong on it. Yes, I feel ancient! Haha! 😂 😁 🤣 I'm a ghostly-pale, combo-oily skintype on a drugstore budget, so my favorite full-coverage foundations are the Maybelline Colorstay 24HR & the Rimmel Stay Matte Full Coverage Mattifying Foundation (the latter I've found works best applying first with fingers, & then final blending w/damp beauty sponge). For lighter coverage days, I love the Rimmel Lasting Finish 25Hour Breathable Foundation, Covergirl Clean Matte BB Cream for oily skin, or the red-topped Rimmel Lasting Finish 25HR w/comfort serum (I just happened upon it at Big Lots, but think it's no longer available in the US). I don't always use primer, as it depends on the foundation I'm using as to whether I feel I need it. I ALWAYS put sunscreen w/SPF50 or higher on before anything else. Some of my sunscreens actually kinda serve as primers. If I do use a primer, it's the Rimmel Stay Matte Mattifying primer. For all-over setting powder, I use the classic translucent Coty Airspun, & the AOA Perfect Setting Powder - Matte Translucent (from the shopmissa website) for undereye. I definitely don't bake either! For final buffing, I really like the Maybelline Fit Me Loose Finishing Powder. My favorite concealer is the Milani Conceal +Perfect Longwear Concealer, as I have a sleep disorder that gives dark circles a heyday. I love the fabulous coverage without it drying-out the undereye. In fact, I just received a new one I'd ordered over the weekend in today's mail, as the Milani website had a sale plus free shipping this past weekend. Much cheaper than buying in the shops! 😉👍🏻

Sugar pill is such a good company ! The customer service is wonderful . When I wasn’t living in the U.S i got my package broken twice and each time they resent me the palette . I purchased one and ended up with three and it was only one color that was broken each time but they told me they wanted me to have a perfect palette. They paid for shipping and listened my packing instructions and gave me a 50% off code on a next purchase . I mean , you can’t do better than this…I will agree that the regular pans are huge , even in something like the Twinkle Little Star palette , I will have them for years if they’re stable enough . I’m not a huge Sugarpill fan anymore but I still think some of their shadows are excellent. Love+ is still my all time favorite red shadow. I just did a red look and tried to use a bunch of red shadows and nothing was working right. Everything was too dull or too pink or too orange... so I used love Plus and it worked and looked fabulous in two seconds. They have excellent shadows but I wish they would sell far less eyeshadow in each pan for way cheaper

8-bit is an old processor for games and computers. The first nintendo console, NES, is an 8 bit console while the second generation, the SNES is 16-bit. Obviously this affects stuff like graphics and sound. In modern times its used to describe a look/sound/aesthetic. 8 bit visuals are pixel art with simplistic number of colors while the music is chiptune

I’m really enjoying it, it’s very unique shades in person. The periwinkle is perfection and the purple is so nice too and that orange can you tell I love it 😂 , for the price or any colorful eyeshadow lover I think would love it. I like how unique Ice algae is! Its such a beautiful shade and if used correctly it can add SO much to a look. I dont think I have a favorite Clionadh shadows lol. I have the jewel bundle of 6 and they are all fantastic if you want to pick out one of the 6. 'Forge' is especially multichromey

Hmm id say creepy cute is a little more pigmented, but its nowhere near as cute 😂

In a nutshell there is finite library of pigments that are not toxic and eye safe. Because every pigment is different they can alter the formula of the eyeshadow even if everything else is the same. So if the only eye safe pigments in a particular color family make the formula more dry for example you kind of limited. Great video as usual :)

I’m waiting for this to go to ULTA so I can use the 20% off coupon whenever they send it out. Big pan sizes are a turn off for me too. I’m glad that palette isn’t limited edition... I’m on a very very very low buy lol. Had to take out a loan for 10,000 dollars to get my teeth done, so instead of buying something every payday I’m limiting myself to one purchase every 3-4 months. It’s been so hard 😭😭

Creepy cute is more pigmented but also more neon-y whereas these are just true pastels

ALSO, I'm really dying to know which palette you believe to be the best/would recommend for the perfect pastel-brights palette: Creepy Cute [the OG in my opinion], Sugar Crystals [def. most innovative w/ a row of each: mattes, shimmers, & toppers.], OR obviously SP's cute lil Fun Size beaut we got here?? [now this one just from looking at it at least seems to have the most unique shades, & also the cutest & most convenient/portable]

***I forgot to mention that obviously if you know of any others PLEASE do share :D I know KVD's Pastel Goth seemed well received enough (I could be wrong tho) but to me it didn't really seem like a legit pastel palette...only other one that comes to mind. It depends if youre mostly looking for shimmers or mattes. I think creepy cute is superior for matte pastels, but sugar crystals is amazing for light shimmers, but the mattes in that are more rainbow than pastels

I don't watch videos (usually) with palettes that I don't have or have ordered cuz if they are good I want to order them or i'll be sad that I haven't ordered it. It Really doesn't effect what I think when I use it, but i get to see if i have to work a special way with the product 😂💖

Yeah true. But I have noticed especially with indie single shadows that some people Ive watched will rave about a brand and then my expectations will be so high that Im probably assuming its gonna be better than it is, and I might give it a worse review than i would have if I didnt know anything about the brand. It kinda goes both ways
