I recall visiting the Yogada Math in 1967 the first time. It was nowhere like what you see today. Looks beautiful. I was also fortunate to visit Self - Realization Society in Malibu; USA. Wow, the peace of mind one achieves cannot be explained. Beyond belief.

Nice video ..I wish to visit this Ashram .. Kriya Yoga is something which if done in proper ways then Dhyan(flow) comes very naturally about anything .. I would suggest you to explore a place Amarkantak in general which has given many Yogis/Rishis .. Its kinda Rishikesh of the central India

I completed his book autobiography of a yogi! But sadly i was disappointed! I just did not want ro read it further but just because i don't like to leave a book in between i completed the book! I understand that he basically wrote the book for western audience but i hated how he constantly compared christ and shri krishn! How he brought both of them at the same level! Hated how he called Shri krishn a prophet! How can he? That too as a Hindu! Then he called Shri krishn son of god along with christ just to make it sound similar to christ! He said god spoke through Shri krishn in bhagwad geeta! This book was a great dissapointment for me! I am unable to generate any respect for yogananda in my heart!

@@SugarSpiceNiceIndia no! He is an ansh of parabrahm like all of us! He's a jeevatama! Not parmatama! He is the son of god as he says! Bhagwan krishn never said that! He says I am the father of this whole universe! Main iss poori srishti ko apne garbh mein dharan karta hu! I am the father who impregnates prakriti! Whereas yogandanda called him son of god! And "Prophet" there is no such concept of prophet in our religion first of all! Secondly we have many Rishi munis who have guided us! But they are never called gods! If yogandanda wanted he could have called those Rishi munis prophet but no he chose to call parabrahm parmatma a prophet! Quite blasphemous ! Bhagwan krishn is called that parambrahm on whom all yogis meditate on! He's the final goal of all the yogis! Even then those yogis are unable to know his true nature! Even Brahma isn't capable of knowing his true nature! I can show hundreds of verses from Mahabharata to show what bhagwan krishn actually is!
