When I first got my Chinese ebay 4 stroke I ran it about 2 hours and changed it. I was shocked at how much metal deposits were in it. I ran it again about 2 hours and changed it again, not as much deposits in it this time but changed it again and ran it another 2 hours. Came out perfectly clean and has been fine since. I now change it a couple times a season but Im an old geezer and just buzz around the neighborhood so I dont really ride it as hard as a lot of guys.It comes out spotless now.in 3 years of having it.

new motor.. 5min !!!!!! change it.. !!!!! 1 tank .. 2nd change... 10 hr 3rd change... then it broke in and good looong time if use quality oil + lucas oil.. omg.. forget about it!!!! once a yr... daily driver..

Never swapped my oil out Added it the first time and have forgotten about it, about 2 years and 2 gal of gas at least thru her. May be worth swapping, eh?

Hey Eugene. I have just got a question about my 2 stroke build. My motor is past the break in period and I decided to add a an expansion chamber to it. But after that happened, my bike started to make a rattling noise. I switched back the stock exhaust, inspected the piston, crank arm, jug, and carberator and they all seem fine. I still don't know why it rattles. If you have any advice or could make a video on that I'm sure it would blow up (hopefully the video and not my bike). Thanks!

Ensure all fasteners are tight. Could also be something loose in the expansion chamber when it was assembled

How you doing you Eugene I have a question about my 2 stroke motor my clutch arm will not Engage I have to manually push the arm out when I'm riding a bike to start the motor Can you please help

Check out my clutch servicing video. Might be the clutch needs more preload or the clutch shaft needs attention. might need cleaning or repair

absolutely do not run a non detergent oil. engine will lock up

Engine basics 101- Run detergent oil when you have an oil filter. Run non-detergent when you don't have an oil filter
