found the summary of this vid Sion (played by Sugizo), the violinist, lives with his sister Misa (played by Shibasaki Kou), who's a fairytale writer. When they were little, they witnessed the death of their parents in front of their eyes, with the shock causing Misa to become mute while Sion is haunted by nightmares during his sleep. Sion writes music for Misa while Misa writes stories for Sion in order to comfort each other, both quietly living together in their own world. However, this happiness didn't last long; destiny wouldn't allow it. Misa dies in an accident, leaving Sion to face his nightmares in day and night: living without Misa in daytime, and unable to sleep due to nightmares at night. Many years later, destiny again changed. a girl that looks like Misa appears before Sion, her name also Misa (note here that Sion's sister's 'Misa' is written in kanji whereas the new Misa is written in katakana). Sion slowly feels light (metaphorically...) as he teaches the energetic Misa how to play the violin.

Thanks for sharing. Do you know which album is this song from?
I downloaded the song onto my ipod. I listen to it almost everyday. Sugizo really is an AMAZING musician! Gotta really thank his father for that.

Nowadays, only Japanese musicians understand the use of "silence" in music. Music doesn't have to be "all happening". Some silence like this is beautiful. the color of white or gold are more apparent against black background instead of against colorful background. same principle in music. Sugizo can play the music, not only the instruments.

so beautiful T_T not even just the music. but the vision. to dream to be able to save a life with one's music alone. if only it were so literal. Even then, it is still possible. A beautiful wish. (so glad I found this)

For the longest time I thought the film's name is Synchronicity, and the soundtrack album is called Soundtrack. But turns out Soundtrack is the name of the film, and Synchronicity is the title of the music, lol.
