Vibrato? No. It’s a true tremolo circuit. Stop using those terms interchangeably lol. Tremolo = change in volume, vibrato= change in pitch.
@MisterTee4 жыл бұрын
Historically these circuits have been called vibrato. John just stuck with tradition and went with the incorrect name
@JohnnyFriendly4 жыл бұрын
@@MisterTee That's right. In the early 60s vibrato was considered a more "boutique" circuit than trem since it was more complicated (and expensive) to build. Fender started to use the term "vibrato" to essentially hoodwink unsuspecting buyers; the idea was to give them the impression that they were getting something that was more expensive than it actually was

There are so many amps that they all start to sound the same to me. All of these Fender style boutique amps sound very similar, same with the Marshall etc.

I own Fender CS postmodern strat (ash/rosewood) with ancho poblano PUs and compound radius,.also have Suhr Alt Pro (alder/rosewood) and Thornbuckers..Both great guitars: fender has mojo and vintage sound, great neck and resonance. Suhr is really well designed&crafted, sounds more modern and plays really effortlessly. I love them both. I also own knaggs kenai t2 24.75 scale (seth lover humbuckers) and is superior in quality&sound&resonance to every gibson I ever played. I think all these different companies deliver a lot nowadays, because competition is hard. I like all my axes, each evokes different playing out of me. But most time I play strat, which is for me the best guitar design ever made. Regarding the amp: Tone king imperial with celestion alnico ruby speaker is tone heaven! Cheers!

Maybe someday the music industry will get together and stop using the term vibrato and tremolo interchangeably. Would you point at a phaser pedal and call it reverb? There is a difference (subtle as it is) and it is a different effect. You would think that the salesperson at least would get it right as a representative of the manufacturer.

That’s actually an incredible price for that amp. I paid £2000 for my Victoria 20112 which was still a great price for such a perfect amp and I would have easily thought that this Hombre amp was at least the same price. I honestly don’t know why people bitch so much about these kinds of prices for this American-made high quality! Just look at the Fender AVii line. Adjusted for inflation, it’s not far off the price and quality of the vintage equivalents at the time they were new! I think the only deserved criticism is at Gibson these days imo

Groundbreaking for 2020. Suhr makes a 1963 Deluxe. And demoed with a telecaster with a minor headstock change to avoid a lawsuit. I'll stick with Fender. Suhr should start making their own designs at this point.

I agree with you Troy. Mr. Suhr used to work at Fender custom shop and I assume thats the reason he only knows how to copy them. The fact is that, he makes great quality instruments however, his strats and teles doesn't have that mojo that Fender has. I've own 2 strat and 2 teles for few months and I sold them all. Plays nicely they're all 2% short when it comes to original Fender mojo. Just my 2 cent.
