I own a suhr hsh and i was about to buy another hss model but then the AZ came out. Now i own two AZ hss and i am verry happy for the choice that i made. On the fisrt AZ i put the Suhr ssh+ with 2 ML single coils and the others one i keept the hyperion pickups. I love both even that have a diferent tone. As a dimarzio fan i am verry surpised about the hyperion pickups.

The sound gap is nowhere near the price gap. In fact, most would struggle to pick up some of the nuances that set them apart on this video.

Estas me parecieron muy similares, definitivamente el alder influye demasiado. Aún con pastillas diferentes, únicamente note más brillo en la Mateus Asato y una salida más vintage. En este caso me quedo con la Suhr. Hermosa guitarra

How’s the ibanez neck+mid in series compared to a full hum? Is it enough for “not too aggressive” metal? Something like angel vivaldi or andy james
