@jeremirobertson9483 жыл бұрын
Its better than lights, camera, revolution is, in not only the songs but definitely a big step up in production or budget or something, including all the artwork. They did seem to push em pretty hard at this point and then just completely gave up on em. This album is the most consistent from song to song outta all 0f em in my opinion but the album after this, no one barely even know exists, let alone being great too but in a more direct and less pompous way of its predecessor but still great. Personally I prefer the remade debut album (still cyco.......after all these years) over the original and its coz of mike Clark. Those thrashy 'no mercy' guitar riffs and the fusion of what suicidal already were, gave us these gifts of music. I hate the first 2 albums if I'm being honest, so it was nice to get at least one of em remade with the Mike Clark magic!

Most underrated band out of the 80’s metal/punk scene
@erics7453 жыл бұрын
Is it ?
@bill_y47623 жыл бұрын
@@erics745 lol ... I don't know. I guess if they're more underated maybe I haven't heard of them. But I think suicidal had some damn good songs and I don't hear them mentioned much as a top metal/ punk band. You could argue the stooges are the most underrated punk band since they were punk before it was even a thing.
@Kalimdor199Menegroth3 жыл бұрын
@@bill_y4762 Hardly man. ST is the biggest selling hardcore/crossover band. As far as I know, they are the only ones within this scene that managed to make a record go gold. And they got 3 of those. Doubt there was/is a band more successful than them, from the same scene.
@bill_y47623 жыл бұрын
@@Kalimdor199Menegroth right.. I see your point so... You're say not that underrated during their era . That's sounds fair. I'm thinking more modern. I hear people talking about a lot of older metal bands (mainly the big 4 but a few others). To me st should be in that category as far a song writing and talent. Obviously they didn't sell as many ablums. I look at it more from the skill/ talent point of view. Also as your pointing out they were more on the thrash/ hardcore side (which has been even more limited commercially).

38, from Ireland. I've been listening to this since I was 6, courtesy of my uncle and his vinyl collection. Like many others here, I am one of the group of people for whom this song just means more than the sum of its parts. It lives rent free in my mind and I may even have it played at my funeral! :P
@HighseekGamingАй бұрын
Dont think of that funeral pup. You got a long ways to go. Nice history with listening to the band. This particular band is special. While other bands are negative and imply wickedness and deceit. This band stands straight up and spits it how it is. They give encouragement in hardships. "Can't bring me down" boom. Just look at him dance and you know what you gotta do. Gain that power too. That's why they teach it through their song and dance. A good trance. A trance that empowers you to be strong no matter the circumstances. It's a blessing to find this band.
