Wow what a fucking monster. He KILLED it. His highs aren't as strong as Mitch's but his lows are just fucking godly. I've literally never heard better gutturals either. This dude has so much power...

I like Phil Bozeman, so don't take this as me trying to compare him to anybody else. Just thought you'd like to check out Travis Ryan from Cattle Decapitation. In my opinion, he's got the most versatile voice ever - check out the songs "Kingdom of Tyrants" or "Your Disposal" and you'll see what I'm talking about.
@thekellykellestine10 жыл бұрын
pestbarn Phil Bozeman looks and sounds almost exactly like a young Travis Ryan. Cattle Decapitation have been a favorite of mine for a while.

***** Ever hear of Ian Bearer from Rings of Saturn? His vocals, including highs, are fucking other worldly man.
@pestbarn10 жыл бұрын
***** Different types of versatility, I guess. If we're not talking about death metal anymore, my top spot for versatility would go to Mike Patton.
@xSLAYtheWEAKx10 жыл бұрын
pestbarn I've heard em, and I'm not bashing but I don't really like his style. I would put Phil above him and I haaaate the weird noises Travis does where he sticks out his tongue and like screeches haha. But again... Not hating! I'm a Vocalist myself for 6+ years. You guys should check my channel, my band recently released an EP featuring John Gallagher of Dying Fetus! :)

Phil is an excellent vocalist and I say 'nay' to anyone who says otherwise. He gave his own quality to the song and I personally like it more than the original. But regardless, to say that any of Phil's vocals are less than par is simply baseless. He rocks.

We can clearly see here how Phil Bozeman is serious in everything he does. There is hours and hours of training behind this perfect cover. It must be an honor for Mitch to see one of his best tracks (if not the best, which is IMO) being covered as good as this. I have seen Whitechapel a couple times (the best performance being in the Summer Slaughter 2011) and never has Phil disappointed me. He is a stage beast.

Phil's vocal clarity, brutality, and obvious and unmatchable talent are what makes this one of the best live performances I've ever heard. Even the band was in shock while performing, because Phil is a fucking monster. The band was just there to make the bland, garage band sounds in the background. Nothing more. Because Phil stole the fucking show.
