Amanda Waller’s actress is Debra Wilson, countless voice over,live actress, and video game work. She was also a Mad tv cast member. Her work on that show is some of the finest comedic acting I’ve ever seen. Absolutely phenomenal talent.

I genuinely don’t think this is the game Rocksteady wanted to make. Warner Bros. Made the push for all of its biggest franchises to become live service games.

In a recent interview Rocksteady said they were working on a Original IP Multiplayer game in 2016 before being given Suicide Squad from WB in 2017. This does mean however, Sefton Hill had green light a project that had multiplayer in mind and we have no clue if it would’ve been live service or not. But seeing how the trend of Multiplayer game’s success is to have some live service elements in mind it’s possible their original IP could’ve been live service too.

A lot seems too "video game-y" The loot box is literally a rocket pod with a reword for you, why not be it the equivalent of a chest in universe, like you said, it being it's own screen really messes with the game's momentum. If after you finish a mission, a pod was to just fly down and you open it it would all run a lot smoother. A game from a few years back named Firefall had something similar, doing you dailies lead to you being able to call in the daily box, which literally was a chest that was shot down where you ordered it rather than having a janky screen.

It took almost 9 years for developers of Arkham Origins ro push out Gotham Knights. It took almost 9 years for Rocksteady, who developed the rest of Arkham series, to push out Suicide Squad. Both Suicide Squad and Gotham Knights were also planned to release one after another before delays began. If that doesn't smell like corrupt and delusional corporate executives ruining franchise and development teams de facto on purpose because they thought that they knew better, Idk what else will. Given previous achievements of both studios, we could have gotten 2 Origins level games and 2 Knight level games out of this deal. We didn't. P.S.: thanks for making me go download Prototype once again. A bit said that I don't pay Sony taxes anymore so I can't reconnect with Infamous series too😅

It depends in truth the game is serviceable if you like looter shooters it has good mechanics and if you don’t care about the story of the Arkham games you might enjoy it but most people call it garbage because it feels like a downgrade and most of the fanbase never wanted this, I sorted my thoughts I am so pissed at the game but in all fairness it’s a fun 6/10 and it might be higher if you like looter shooters

I played it. It was good. Definetly not worth $70 good but it was ok. I would give it a 5. I refunded cause I definetly didnt get my moneys worth. If it was like $30 then maybe I will come back to it. Considering the game will ask you to pay extra for dlc in the future. I cannot see this lasting more than 6 seasons at most

An Arkham game based around the justice league slowly being corrupted by brainiac and having to save them as Batman would have been way better. The ending would be Batman sacrificing himself to destroy brainiacs ship while the saved members deal with other problems that were caused? Unsure what would have been a good ending ending. It’s just a heroic death to Batman and respectful in a way to kevin

Saw the title and immediately knew what you meant or at least why I think so. It's because the combat is so fun, the gear has potential and the story has such a rich area to pull from with some great possibilities and a few great moments. Then you notice the lack of varied missions outside of having to use a certain damage type to affect enemies, protect stuff from enemies, or just kill a certain number of enemies. There's little enemy variety that feels different enough from each other and there's not a lot in the beautiful open world after you beat it besides small enemy groups. Then the parts of the story that should have weight just don't because they're told in such insulting ways at times and some great moments that could have been amazing to experience are almost always just in well acted but unfulfilling cutscenes. Batman's boss was the easiest of them all, his final part in the game right now was a joke imo. We barely even felt the justice leagues influence apart from cutscenes and their boss fights. I didn't plan to write so much but all I meant to type at first was that it has a great core combat system, great characters, and an amazing universe of lore to pull from but it never really spreads it wings and feels a lot like it held back for some reason. They made these characters feel so one note and generic somehow in the end

let me explain, I like games with this type of gameplay, i like the concept, I love it actually, i js wish the story was original, and not related to Arkham, the movement shooter with suicide squad (IMO) is a fun concept, if pulled off correctly, the humour I like and the movement, the enemies are repetitive but it’s grindy feeling that I enjoy, with more content it could be great, but that won’t change the poor story, that holds it back for me, i believe this game is overhated, I understand why but, like I said, this is my opinion, an unpopular one, I hope to find others who don’t mind this game and agree with me.

As a hater of this game my gripe is more on the story. Gameplay wise I never doubted it being fun but the format does nothing to compliment the suicide squad. No of these characters feel represented uniquely by the game play and it doesn't feel like I'm playing them if that makes sense. Sunset overdrive gameplay with looter shooting mechanics just doesn't scream harley,deadshot, king shark, or boomerang.

I hate that everything is either terrible or amazing like there’s no in between. It’s not like this game is a 2/10 like so many people have made it out to be. It’s not the best thing ever created either it’s just fine i guess. The core gameplay is fun but there is just not much variety in the gameplay loop which i guess is due to its genre being a looter shooter. The story is uneven at best. There’s moments where the writing is great then others where it’s downright atrocious. Rocksteady’s writing has decreased a lot and the first signs being in arkham knight already. The Arkham Knight reveal was very obvious and not well done in that game and the overall story was a big step down front arkham city and the batmobile was more annoying than fun cause they overused it. Like so many live service games it doesn’t have much content at launch which is a shame and side mission wise it doesn’t have much to offer. Arkham side missions were cinematic and fun and I wish they did that for this game too. Overall I think this game is ok like a 6/10 and I will check out the post launch content. It’s user friendly in that all future content is free which not many of these types of games do. There is a battle pass for cosmetics only and I already know that people will latch onto the fact that a battlepass exists even though it’s just cosmetics and call it a cashgrab shitshow.

The game is a good game of its genre, it is a good lotther shotter with good loot, good gameplay and post-launch content that aims to be good, it was not what I expected from rocksteady but I like lotther shotters so I am surprised with how well they researched The genre is a 7 or 8 game, it's not nearly as good as Arkhams, but it's not the garbage that many say, the truth is always in the middle, people.

Feel like this game would of done better as a risk of rain/returnal inspired co op rogue like Gameplay wise As a rogue like now remove all the filler missions and focus on the main stuff so it’s faster paced to fit the format Remove looter shooter and rpg mechanics and add risk of rain stackable item based progression (make the items toyman toys) 1 weapon, melee, explosive and traversal abilities that’s exclusive to each character and makes sense to them E.g captain boomerang just has the boomstick as weapon (shotgun), boomerangs as melee, explosive boomerang as grenade and his speed force gauntlet as traversal Use nemesis system to make each run feel different with the league boss fights (explain lex 2 has put them in time loop but Brainiac is aware of the time loop and makes alterations every time you die) - time loop not only helps explain the rogue like gameplay but also makes it feel more like an actual SUICIDE squad game where it’s actually canon that youse keep dying trying to complete this mission Make brainiacs invasion bigger scale so we can fight on 6 sub maps based on each boss instead of just one big metropolis map E.g section of Metropolis, section of Gotham, section of central city etc Story wise: wonder woman’s role should of been completely swapped with batman giving this is in the Arkham verse. They could of actually just made it so Batman isn’t on the league but has come out of hiding in order to stop them Just Replace deadshot with bloodsport as the whole two deadshot thing is just stupid for the sake of them clearly wanting to have a more diverse cast and deadshot being white in the canon originally Twist at the end that the justice league we kill are clones made by brainiac not the real league to explain the inconsistencies of flash finger reappearing, lanterns ring not working properly after death and superman not dying to kryptonite. Also gives us the the objective for dlc to now to save the original league members who are actually just captured Finally dlc 1 joker should be jokster from the crime syndicate universe, makes more sense then why he’s more of a fighter and equipped to help against a corrupt league

ive played at least 8 hours already and im ngl the game is fun for sure but it gets pretty repetitive if u just sit there and do the missions that have the same objectives over n over. i think if ur not interested in the story and more so for the gameplay then you’ll enjoy it but definitely not worth 100 dollars especially not worth 70 dollars either

Man the level of detail on all the character models looks absolutely stunning, Arkham Knight had detailed character models but this game is on an other level. Also happy to see Rocksteady finally get to make a game set during the day with the new Metropolis setting, I am a huge fan of the Arkham trilogy and Suicide Squad Kill the Justice League looks like a fun time, colorful visuals , along with the quick run and gun style gameplay system, the banter between the squad, even the story looks like it will be interesting, the game will be a good time

Man the movement kinda janky and surprisingly slow. Kinda hope with Arkham free flow combat, the more you kill the enemy, the more faster buffs you got. Also the enemies should less sporadic. But damn, they should remove that lootbox gacha style and that annoying dialogue. It so irritating hearing Captain Boomerang all the time lol

It doesn’t seem like a BAD game, I’m sure it’ll find its audience. The problem is, it looks repetitive, and generic. And it’s a game that’ll go on forever, and I just can’t imagine anyone wanting to play this past the first few hours. It’ll be forgotten about, rocksteady will lose a bunch of money, and that’ll kinda just be the end of it. Really disappointing stuff here.

The main reason why this game gets so much hate is honestly the story. If you haven't played the Arkham series, it was ahead of it's time. Whether you like it or not, the graphics were incredible and the gameplay was innovative at the time. It became a legendary series. So when your favorite character gets basically bodied by 4 regular side characters, it really doesn't make sense. Flash getting killed by these 4? He literally killed Luthor in less than a second, and you're telling me he could run around them fast enough to make a tornado and still let them kill him? Plot armor is crazzzy TLDR: the story was written so poorly that the way the League died was completely unreasonable. This in turn makes it seem disrespectful to the Arkham Series, to the DC series itself, and also disrespectful towards Kevin as it was his last performance as batman. I mean, how did 4 side characters beat Braniac, basically an ever evolving god????

Also, the gameplay itself has it's issues. I have not played the game so I wouldn't know how it felt, but a major complaint from the community was that the effects overloaded the visuals and it was basically a mid looter shooter. Completely shitted on the Arkham series. (Again I have never played it so I will not comment my opinions, what I said is purely about the community)
