​@mysteryace2129 so fortunately with avengers they did add a final update that gave ALL avengers Micro transaction items..( Take down emotes name plates & skins)... free in an update and made all dlc available for offline play so avengers can now be played completely offline single-player with out an internet connection,,,my hopes is that they will do the same for this game otherwise its not worth pay over 100$ for a game they can just shutdown at anytime

I'm going to change my expectations about this game and give it a vote of confidence, because it's Rocksteady. The graphics look incredible, the game's narrative can surprise, and it can be fun to play. I don't think Rocksteady would be able to produce something as trashy as the Avengers game. Would I still prefer it to be a Superman game or an Arkham Asylum remake? Yes! But I'm not going to join in with the internet and foolishly and uncritically deny what the guys are creating. My PS5 awaits. Let's go Rocksteady! ;)

It might not have a ton of microtransactions maybe only cosmetics which is fine. Coop game from 2005, from what I'm actually seeing and analyzing the gameplay, we won't know for sure, but this might actually be one of the best takes on a 4 player coop shooter. The gameplay has a ton of mechanics that I bet will probably be fun to play with. I know we wanted other games, and trust me... as someone who adores the Arkham quadrilogy, I did, but but this is what we got now, and I'm trying to have a fair perspective on it. Like legit how many actualy 4 player "story", "good" shooters have we gotten in the last two decades? They're not a lot, so in that regard, this is not just following a trend. Let's see Rocksteady's take. Good things I noticed in this video: -The movement seems really smooth and fun, which not a lot of games like these have. -The incorporated the counter system as a "counter weakpoint" kinda system. When an enemy is attacking, if you attack a specific area you can counter, and what happens after depends on the enemy type. -Idk if there's more interactions like this, but shooting the legs and then doing a melee attack gives you armor, which from my experience with DOOM Eternal was hella fun trying to think ok I have low armor, let me do this specific sequence to get it back while also fighting and not getting hit etc. I'm not defending the game or anything, I'm just citing my observations on what might make this game stand out from other games.

Because ppl just want another arkham (tho this game was never said to be like it) and just dont even want to have an open mind on approaching the game. From the get they didnt like it now every upcoming trailer or news til released is gonna be that. The negative mindset is going to make the experience much much the worst in terms of nit picking. The game doesn't even look that bad, actually as a 3rd person shooter and combat looks mad fun. Reminds me of a sunset overdrive just in a much gritty enviornment. So about that Superman game. You got a metropolis modeled. You have fully modeled Suoerman. AAA games are getting expensive, hopefully WB is really considering reusing those assets for a Superman Game. Especially considering we got WWoman coming. I’m cautiously optimistic about this… I’m glad they’re doing this video series and it already looks better then what we were getting originally. But I’m gonna have to wait and see before i can really have an opinion on this. I never played The Avengers game so I can’t speak from that experience, but I hope the gameplay experience doesn’t feel too on the rails or “empty” if that makes sense. What made the Arkham games so fun was the sense of rhythm you’d get in combat that allowed for some cathartic combos, so I’m interested to see if they can reach that level satisfaction in a shooter-type game. But hey, if worse comes to worse, I can always watch the cutscenes online and experience the story from there. Did it with Gotham Knights, so I can do it again with this if needed 🤷‍♂️

I just hope the co op doesn't disappoint, I see the co op provided is like dynasty warrior but more unique and open world. but from what I saw, the city looked more like a battle royale. Hopefully there will be more characters, and it can actually loot like a battle royale game. it's very good to see the story but if it's over? all you can experience is the co-op or online feature. Maybe you could try including additional stories from other universes, this would open new gates for new characters to appear and could also make the co-op game fresher. The downside of the Marvel games that I've played is that they're always just ordinary games which, once finished, mean they don't continue but create new ones, but this game is different. like having a new one, better than the way marvel does it. Just from the game Injustice, it's already good, I'm really looking forward to this game, I hope it lives up to expectations
