SSKTJL is the closest we're ever gonna get to a Superman game and...the world of Metropolis is in ruins constantly. The civilians are dead. People were so pissed off when actual game play was revealed that the game got delayed.

I replayed through Arkham Knight after Suicide Squad released. I didn't even play Suicide Squad, but even I felt like I needed some cleansing. Arkham Knights such a great game. Another Arham Knight that expands on the dual play feature could have been amazkng. Arkham Origins 2 where you play as Batman and Robin in an open World would be my dream.

I don't understand why people were expecting a follow-up to Knight. Rocksteady literally said back in 2015 that it was meant to be the last game. It blows my mind that people have been waiting the past 9 years for a new Arkham game, like didn't you guys see all the promos calling Knight the final chapter back in the day? I have absolutely zero sympathy, we’ve known for a while there are serious trouble makers at Rocksteady, the truth of the matter is Rocksteady is no longer Rocksteady most of the actual talent has left, the people responsible for giving us Arkham are largely not the same people that pushed and developed this god awful game. I wanna start off by saying i was a massive hater of Sweet Baby Inc for quite a while (doesn't mean i care much about them right now), since i didn’t like some of the things in the plot in Spiderman 2. I even played Gotham Knights for quite a while, and thought it was a very wierd game (Got it for Red Hood). I didn't know about Sweet Baby at the time of playing Gotham Knights. I got even angrier when i saw the Suicide Squad game unfold over the coming months, since it seemed like every single choice they chose was to piss people off. I figured these “Woke”(hate that word to death) things wouldn't be around In these games if Sweet Baby wasn't involved. Then i saw stuff on the game “Skull and Bones”, come out with things that it feels like Sweet Baby Inc would do. for one, the chief officer(the lady that's basically your kinda guide, and waits on a boat at shore), originally was meant to be a man instead. Then there was a lady who’s character was almost entirely “i hate men” After all I've seen, it definitely feels like things Sweet Baby would do. Yet where are they with this game? Nowhere. Honestly, the biggest question on my mind at that point is “who do i trust?” I didn't really know where to stand in this situation until i saw that WB plans to double down on Live-Service games. Even after this flop. Of everything you say in the video, the one line that's stuck with me is “The company is our greatest adversary” And to say your right would be the greatest understatement of 2024. i have been seeing so many projects made by WB get thrown out over the past few years mainly for money. And that, i believe, is the biggest Reason to the question you ask in the video: “why?” Money For people reading this, if you want to blame Sweet Baby Inc for this disaster, then that's fine. I didn't make this comment to judge people(at least, trying to. I'm trying my best to not rub you all the wrong way). But we cannot ignore that Rocksteady, and Warner Bros. are also guilty in this travesty. Warner Bros. wanted Rocksteady to make a live service game instead of a Batman Beyond, or Damian Wayne game (if they're the same thing, I apologize. I can't tell). Rocksteady is still supporting the game despite it's poor reception. And, in my personal opinion? I truly believe that next to nothing would've changed had Sweet Baby not been involved. I believe Harely still would make creepy and uncomfortable jokes. I believe Boomerang would've still “disrespected”(y'all know what i mean) flash's corpse. Batman still would've gotten shot on a park bench. And we would still be hunting down all 13 Brainiacs as part of the Live Service content. The only good thing we can take away from all this? The smarter ones abandoned ship and made their own: Hundred Star. I'm honestly interested in seeing what they make down the line. despite all of that….i truly believe we aren't past the worst of it. With there likely being more live service games from WB on the horizon, I believe other games, and franchises will suffer a similar fate in short order for quite some time (Hogwarts Legacy seems the most likely candidate). Be prepared, friends. Dark days are ahead.

Wasted what could’ve been kevin’s final batman Arkham game where the plot is from Batman’s perspective and he has to stop the brainwashed justice league as well as contending with waller and her kill squad. So for example imagine batman is trying to stop brainwashed superman from killing innocents while AT THE SAME TIME protecting Superman from the suicide squad trying to eliminate him. Could’ve been an amazing final third person arkham game but instead they wasted the last chance (they didn’t know of course) of kevin starring as the true batman one last time. what a failure of a company on every level and every division even the animated division is crumbling with those mediocre tomorrowverse animated films. Please god just remove dc’s corpse from wb’s clutches lol

Is Luke the same Luke as the moderator of the Batman arkhamverse forums back in the 2010, way back before arkham city had come out. It was full of topics about all kind of speculation and ideas for the arkham city and arkham knight after that. I remember drawing a picture on the site of batmans fear multi takedown that was later implemented in arkham knight. Can't be sure they got the idea from me but I remember luke or the other moderator told rocksetady workers back then were reading fans ideas and wishes alot on the website. I came up with that idea from hitman absolution, so maybe they did also. In my picture Batman used also batarangs for multitakedown. Another idea of mine was that when you do normal takedown where you hear enemie's bones crack, is that it would turn to detective mission shortly during the animation to show the damage, similar to mortal kombat😅. They didn't implement that idea though. Would have been too brutal I guess.

What do you mean “if Rocksteady survives this”? Rocksteady is already dead. It’s little more than a walking corpse at this point. I’m willing to bet the same people working there now who were there at the start are a fraction of the people who were there back when the studio was in its prime. I bet most are new guys hired to replace all the ones who slowly left over the years. It’s Rocksteady in name only at this point.

While Sweet Baby Inc and their handling of Batman in SSKTJL are certainly a factor in the failure of this game, I don't believe they deserve all the blame. There are so many other factors, such as the choice to make this game a live service shooter game, the gameplay reveals looking terrible, the UI filling up the screen with so much information, the fact that WB has tried so hard to push the Suicide Squad without them ever really catching on, and the fact that you were having to kill the Justice League as C-list characters (minus Harley who's become A-list somehow) instead of getting a game where you play as the Justice League. The choices from Rocksteady and WB are just as much to blame as Sweet Baby Inc's story choices. I had already decided I wouldn't waste my money on this game long before the leaks of Batman being shot in the head came out. That was just the nail in the coffin. That's my two cents anyway.

First of all Sweet Baby worked on just bios, henchman conversations, audio tapes, it's such a small harmless part of the game. Second - the Suicide Squad deserves a game just as much as the Justice League, just because the Squad aren't huge characters doesn't make them less unique and interesting. The Squad has all the potential in the world for an amazing one of a kind game - even though I like the final game, I don't love it.

@@chrisbryan7611 Sweet Baby's main job is a consulting firm that just checks up on and advises diversity content in games if the developer is uneasy about how they are portraying that group, Sweet Baby has never written cutscenes, story plot points ever. Even if Sweet Baby did magically write Kill The Justice League, what harm did they do exactly, there is no forced diversity content in the game whatsoever, all of it feels perfectly normal and natural just like how it is in reality.

Yeah, that's why the Deadshot in this story is black even though he's been white since the conception of the Arkhamverse, but we just have to accept the white one is from another universe and that Batman never seemed to figure that out in the first place...yeah no forced diversity, got it. Plus the Poison Ivy reveal was poorly executed and the writing resorted to MAP jokes revolving around Ivy and Harley despite the fact those two were never a thing in the Arkhamverse. @@chrisbryan7611 Suicide Squad Kill The Justice League's Arkham games connections are hanging by a breaking thread, the pointless connections to Arkham games barely impacts or matters to the game at all and was just a idiotic misguided marketing tactic, the game really is and should be treated as a twisted bleak DC alternative universe similar to Marvel Zombies. How does Deadshot being black largely impact his character at all, it barely matters, even if you treat him as Arkham game Deadshot, Arkham Deadshot is barely a character, he shows up in two side missions in City and Origins, Batman beats him straight away nearly as soon as he shows up onscreen, then he's gone forever for the rest of the of the two games. Harley never hits on child Ivy, she is just very surprised that she is a child now, your mind must really be in a disgusting gutter to see anything sexual in their interactions, Harley literally just tries to remind Ivy of the affection that the two characters had for each other for years since Ivy's memory is erased. Sweet Baby just looked over the script and cutscenes to give their advice on the diversity content already featured in them which barely impacts the game at all, they never wrote the story or 90 percent of the dialogue.
