and dont get me started on Martian Manhunter...ever since I was a kid I considered him one of the most OP members, incredibly fast and strong, debatably on the levels of supes but typically not quite depending on the iteration, invisibility, shapeshifting, telekinesis and telepathy, can phase through walls and martian vision? guy is so stacked, that his only weakness is fire and im sure only because the writers wanted to ensure superman could beat him most of the time bc he is the flagship character. One of the most underrated superheroes ever.

Speedsters are consistently underestimated for this reason. So are like incomprehensible geniuses - for example, Mr. Fantastic just kind of letting the Scarlet Witch kill him in MoM. If powers were taken at face value then The Joker, Harley, Catwoman, most non-super heroes would die in literally a single punch. You gotta allow for at least a little flexibility in character power levels if you're doing any kind of crossover nonsense. (Granted, writers frequently take it a bit too far for the sake of plot)
