I feel like people are more likely to like a remix if they've never heard the original. There are exceptions, of course, but it seems to generally be true. If you like the original, then you have that in mind while you're listening to a remix, and the remix just sounds wrong. But if you've never heard the original, then you're listening to the remix like it's a brand new song, and focusing on the sound rather than keeping the original in mind. So my suggestion to everyone who likes the original is: try not to think about what the original sounds like. Focus solely on the sound you're hearing. Don't know if anything I just said makes any sense, but maybe it'll help somebody :) I hope all of you have a wonderful weekend!

Heard the Original and DWNWMTNTNTNT remix and all crap. This version is the best! It creates a complex atmosphere which the other versions don't. The original sucks ballz.

This is not a remix, sorry. It's a whole new creation and you might say it contains excerpts, samples... but the original is unrecognizable. It looks like it's using the band's name to promote himself. Thumbs down.

That or it calls itself a remix in order to avoid copyright infringement issues for use of the samples. Would you prefer it be called a bootleg instead?

To be honest, I'd prefer them to come up with a whole different name, as Duke Dumont made with "I Got U" and Le Youth's recent "Dance With Me". Also, the "Chocolate" sample is so unrecognizable in this one that I really don't think it'd be missed at all if they'd remove it. Hopefully it will fall in the ears of oblivion.

Promoting yourself using another name isn't really that effective. Most of the time the watcher will go see the original's channel instead of the remixer. I am more inclined to believe it was to avoid copyright infringement issues like OtraCitiesMusic said. Take Daft Punk - Random Access Memories (Vanderway Edit) for example. It's supposed to be a remix of Get Lucky because it uses a guitar sample from the song but the piece itself is completely different. With how strict copyright infringement issues are today, If I was making a song with even the slightest sample of another song, I would probably still call it a remix.
