I have to agree with Suisei, when Coco left, it wrecked me for weeks, with Aqua, I felt really sad but at the end I didn't feel the same level of devastation when Coco left. I don't know why.

Looking back at it now, its prob because coco was at her peak and was also fighting those stupid antis, but for aqua it still hitting me (and will for a while) but she left on a happy note. Thats how I see it.

Coco fought and fought to stay around with little to no support from Cover in fighting antis and bullying even after all she did for them, so seeing her leave was like watching the strongest warrior leave at the start of the battle, at least that's how I see it. With Aqua it kind of felt like while she enjoying being in Hololive that every part of it was exhausting even in the best of times so recently with things picking up and having more and more restrictions she was probably ready to just move on and do her own thing (assuming she continues to stream elsewhere)

I really feel Suisei was correct about how big of a presence Aqua was 2-3 years ago. I started hololive because of one of her funny clips, when the world needs cure for boredom being in the house all day because of COVID. She is very entertaining, and her clumsiness is very prominent in her EN translated Clips. She also has a very solid fanbase in JP which is I think why she is one the most popular member of Holo in JP during that time. She carried all of that yet most of her streams she go on full solo, which is why I think is getting harder nowadays since we can see there were collabs here and there nowadays in the Vtuber Scene and the Vtuber space has become so bloated as new blood comes in. I just hope Aqua finds happiness in the path she would take in the future.

I still remember the Karaoke stream Suisei did right after Coco's graduation. Singing, screaming and crying, letting all the emotions flow. A lot of people say they're the same situation (of parting on good terms), but we all know that's not entirely the case. A lot of stuff happened that made Coco's graduation feel even more painful in our mind. The situation was complicated and there were some 3rd parties... With Akutan, we're just seeing her go off onto the world or something, wish her luck and, at the end of the day, accept her decision to retire from this life and try something new. This time is the real leaving the company, because enough time has passed for her there and she wants to do things outside of that.

I think the major reasons on why Aqutan's graduation felt different is because this isn't the 1st graduation (Coco, Sana and even A-chan) and also the amount of talents that had been terminated as opposed to graduating. Personally, I felt a bit sense of relief that she was given the chance to graduate after the announcement.

Suisei is helping us process all of this in the best way she knows: talking out her feelings as best as she can. For everyone to start accepting that Aqua is moving on with her life is a big deal. We feel like we're losing something but life goes on. We just have to face these things with a smile and put our best foot forward like Aqua is doing right now. That is the respect she deserves. That doesn't stop us from feeling upset and sad over it - thank you Suisei for being with us and saying what we're thinking out loud. We move on cherishing the time we spent and valuing the time we will spend with who we care about.

This got me thinking. For a long time my favourites were (and still are) Suisei, Fubuki and Rushia. When Rushia left, it felt pretty bad. But, if Fubuki were to leave, I think, I'd start getting unpleasant vibes from everything Hololive-related... If my oshi, Suisei, were to leave... I'm sure, I couldn't continue watching hololive. Hope our star will continue shining bright for a very long time! P.S. Sorry for making Aqua graduation about others. I love Aqua too. I just have nothing to say about this

I feel like I've been saying this a lot recently, but change is constant and inevitable. It's a part of life. A lesson every person has to learn eventually. To me, this graduation was foretold 2 years ago, when Aqua, Suisei and Towa had an emotional ending to VSaikyou. Her leaving at this time did not hurt as bad because i was already feeling that it was about time she would leave.

The comparison is stark, but for Coco I felt like she left so many things on the table and had the situation with spammers improving (a few of her last meme reviews had the cleanest chats I'd need in months) but decided to walk away. With Aqua I'm more at peace with her choosing to continue to forge her own path, since it feels more like she's accomplished a whole lot and might have outgrown what hololive could provide. I mean, I'm at peace with both (all three by now) graduations since I enjoyed watching them. I can accept that this isn't permanent and it can disappear in a heartbeat.

I always saw Aqua as one of hololive's biggest faces like Fubuki and Subaru. She was one of the reasons I fell so deep into the rabbit hole. That's why I'm so surprised by this graduation. I thought holo would try to hold on to a talent like that as much as they can.

Feels like it's not just the entire fanbase drinking a lot of copium today, the talents are probably feasting on them. And yeah, I feel like Aqua a bit of an airhead and kinda stupid at times, I kinda worried she'd mess up. After that live I feel like she saw her growth. Feels lighter after the live ended, happier even. I hope hololive can exist for like 3-5 more years, if they're lucky, 10-20 more years. Hopefully it's still a good, respectable company by then. Maybe Aqua will return someday.

She was at the forefront of hololive. Up until a couple years ago(when she started to withdraw/wanting to quit/having problems), one of the most active, and one of the ones really carrying hololive's popularity.

There was a time when Hololive still operated in China and Aqua (and Fubuki) was the biggest star of Hololive. She was leading the girls and also the top earner of the company and was even competing with Kagura Mea, the queen of Bilibili vtubers, which is also a close friend of hers. And then the Taiwan incident happened. While Coco received the blunt of the controversy, not many realized that Aqua also took a direct hit when she lost majority of her fanbase and income.

I know some Speculations will always happen but don't expect her to now join Vshojo just because the company has a member(fmrly 2) formerly works from a previous company. 1) No Guarantee she will join like Delutaya. 2) it may cause tensions between fans of fmr for stealing away their talents for profit. 3) Whilst they do housed former members of their previous company,Vshojo doesn't want to be called a Retirement Home for Vtubers

Hey guys, I hate to say it, but I'm pretty sure Aqua is leaving Hololive because she wants to explore life a little more. I sincerely doubt we'll be seeing her appearing in some other Vtuber company, or as a streamer at all. I just think she's made the decision to move on, and not because she was feeling discontent towards Hololive, but because she wants to do more in her life. Also brother, I don't think anyone is speculating that Aqua is planning to join Vshojo to begin with. She'd join a new company, where the vast majority of streamers do not speak her language, nor does she know them. She knows Coco, *maybe* Pikamee, and that's it. Also, you're delusional if you think Vshojo wouldn't fucking JUMP at the opportunity to house a legend like Minato Aqua lmfao.
