I am a big fan of Bangkok 112's videos, but I cant believe how these videos improve my experience in watching those. Very complimentary.

I stayed at the Rembrandt Hotel on the Sukhumvit Soi (St) 18., during my last January visit. I used to walk Soi 18 & 20 after dinner at night. The Well hotel I saw was always closed! Also Visited Pattaya by cab & Kanchanaburi by train. (to see the famous bridge of River Kwai..) Nice Video, Tnks.

Very well produced sir and informative as always. People visiting this channel for the first time: don't look any further, there aren't simply any better walkthrough video's of Bangkok on You Tube.

Another very information and professionally made video. I note down all the points of interest for my next trip over (8 weeks today) from all the sois so as not to miss anything. It could take me months to amass that kind of information by just walking around in the sweltering heat. Thank you.

thanks for making these videos; i've been to bangkok many times but i never videotaped the main streets and always forget what's on them; your videos are a GREAT reference for those of us who can't get there; i've used Google Maps on a few occasions but with your videos, it's possible to explore the streets along side the web. for example, if i want to know how far a hotel is from the main road of Sukhumvit or how far it is from a train station, your video will help immensely! so thank you very much for doing this!

Hi Allan, thanks for the video. I've booked Golden Tulip already a couple of months back but will definitely use your link the next time.

Thanks mate - Soi 20 sure does have a lot of hotels but its easy to understand why. Good restaurants and close to shopping, nightlife and transport - you have an army of taxi drivers in that soi as well lol.

Nice one ESB - we all owe you some new ‘shoes’ - keep it up please. Your so much better than Google!!

New shirts more like as a walk through a whole soi like this makes you very sweaty. Nice to hear that you think Google are gonna face some serious competition from me LOL.

Hi there great video will be staying at the Akyra Tas Hotel which is suppose to be the building right before THEE Hotel, why did you not mention it?
Cheers. The rate of growth has definitely picked up in recent months. Now getting close to 400 new subscribers per month whereas 6 months ago I got an average of 100 new subscribers per month.

Well done. Long may it continue because your post production skills deserve many many more subs. Bangkok is the world's most visited city and you are providing a quality service.

Thanks a lot for this feedback. I think you just made my day lol. You are right that I am putting a lot of man hours into "post-production" and some may find it a wasted effort, but I am hoping that these videos may stand the test of time (at least for a couple of years) and provide travellers to Bangkok with some valuable information.

EatSleepBangkok I agree with you. Effort now will reap rewards long term. If I was going to make a channel I would be happy with your results as they will stand the test of time.

Having just stayed at the Novotel for a few nights this soi now looks like a ghost town compared to this. Many places closed down for good or for now including the Rembrant (soi 18) Green Garden, small family mart, wine connection, German and Japanese restaurants etc

The 3 towers that loom lager over soi 20 is in fact 4 towers. Not sure how you managed to miss one !!!!
@Eatsleepbangkok6 жыл бұрын
One must have been hidden by one of the others. I do manage to capture the 4 towers in all their glory in this video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/Y5fFp2Okipl4qtkm52s

I do tend to notice things :) at the end of the video you links to you say "this is where soi 24 meets soi 23" Those two sois cannot meet as they are on opposite sides of Sukhumvit. :)
@Eatsleepbangkok6 жыл бұрын
Yep that was a mistake that annoyed me but you're the first to call it out. I meant to say soi 22 instead of soi 23 but I think I was tired so I didn't notice the error in editing.

All my moaning and yet these are very good video's.
