Hello from Japan. I was looking for someone from abroad who sings this song...and I found it. It was a really wonderful performance with a light rhythm. In Japan, there was a big earthquake at the beginning of the New Year, and I arranged and sang this song as a cheering song and uploaded it on KZbin. I am very happy to have a Japanese song performed like this.

10/21/24 Awesome vrsion of 上を向いて歩こう. Ive loved this song since 1962. I was 8 & taught myself to sing it phonetically. I could sense it was very sad despite the lilting, upbeat tempo. It wasnt until the 1980s that I found a translation & discovered just how sad & tragic it is. Heartbreak is heartbreak 💔& it is universal - no matter what language. Thank you/arigato for sharing your wonderful rendition.

I learned to sing this favorite song phoenetically some years ago. Your video is helping me fine-tune my pronunciation - thank you! Another favorite I've tried to learn is Adriano Celentano's "Il Ragazzo Della Via Gluck". Not knowing the language makes it much harder to remember the words, but if you love the song, and love to sing, persistence is key.

I grew up with my parents playing This ... im Australian though it's so so beautiful as I said ..... im 47 yrs old and still remember all his words ....
