The world cutting slash requires the same hand signs as Sukuna's Domain expansion. Having two of his hands destroyed similar to Gojo fight in the last chapter, he used multiple binding vows to re-establish his domain, though those binding vows were also used to change the inside and outside conditions of the domain itself, and even with all this, he can only maintain for 99 seconds. Him using Gojo's hand sign is a way of establishing a strong domain and binding vow.................I hope that is how it was supposed to be or else I am just deluding myself.

I think the mudra Sukuna used here is another thing he picked up from his fight against Gojo. Because Sukuna is so proficient at jujutsu he can reproduce almost immediately any non-innate technique he sees, I think Sukuna seeing Gojo just realized "damn you can do it with one hand?" and proceeded to replicate it in this current configuration to make up for his quasi lack of hands without having to regain his RCT output since Yuji put that out of the equation

If the translations are correct, this chapter confirms that the shrine is a storage of someone's technique eaten by the person who have access to it. Body is the box and soul is what was inside. If the box was possible to access, then it is also possible to relocate what's inside that box to another space(shrine). Yuji and Sukuna both have access to shrine, Yuji shows that he can absorb or use techniques of what he can eat

I have a theory that only in order to heal others with rct you have to understand the concept of love in the jjk verse. I think this is the biggest reason ppl like yuta could instinctively heal others while ppl like gojo could never. Characters like Sukana who have been shown to understand love can easily heal others. It could be, but Shoko is the character most known for healing others and thematically she has very little to do with the concept of "love", never talks about it and so on. Personally I take Gojo not being able to heal others as both a character trait - he was always bad with RCT and even post awakening he could never truly master it - and thematically important - he can destroy things, but he can't fix things. He couldn't fix his friendship with Shoko, couldn't fix Geto nor their friendship, couldn't fix the jujutsu society, etc, etc. The overall theme with Gojo is that he is a man who can do everything but pretty much fails at everything he wants to succeed, so it's fitting.

i think the hand sign has more to do with his barriers binding vow. him copying gojos handing makes his barrier targeting like that of infinite void. in chapter 230 it explained that gojos domain targets EVERYTHING within UV and that sukunas open domain works the same way but ofc he modified it to adapt. that makes me think since he’s now casting it with a barrier but also needs to target everything within the domain this is the strongest hand sign that he needs to do.

I just realized the 1 anime trope i actually dont like. When the always calm & calculated anime character starts to make mistakes. This is because they start making decisions based of emotion. Examples of this are Sosuke Aizen, Muzan kibutsuji, Light Yagami & L Lawliet. Aizen especially cause he could have wiped out literally everyone. Ichigo should not even had the chance to do his dangai training. But Aizen was so arrogant he played with his food. Aizen without the Hogyoku would have never made that mistake.

Also in this video as stated by Kuskabe, Yuuji sudden boost in learning CE so quickly was because of Sukunas CE and CTs being used during Shibuya. Right now the vessel is Megumi and Sukuna has now been using his own CT and CE after destroying Megumuis.

Also even after learning Yuuji is brothers with the dead wombs and Kenjakus son he still didn't inherit Blood Manipulation only after consuming his brothers. So both Blood Manipulation and Shrine weren't originally Yuujis CTs. As the story has been pointing out and Kenjaku has been show to ignore Yuuji, Yuuji was portrayed as being a no body not being special and what did make him special or a somebody was Sukuna. That was the message throughout the story and what sets Yuuji apart from many shounen in which protagonists get asspulls or unnatural power ups based on their bloodline. Now in the manga we are seeing Yuuji showing why he's the MC

I've been saying that if Megumi ever comes back, he's gonna be a special grade for 50 chapters. Glad the goat agrees. Also huge reveal coming in 259 I cant wait. Also also, wanted to talk about the hand sign a bit. So Gojo calls Sukuna the challenger at the start of their fight, meaning that he had the title of the strongest and Sukuna didnt disagree, and after Sukuna beats him he gets to take the title of the strongest for himself, and him using the one handed Indra seal for his domain now is a cool little bit of symbolism for it.

I believe it's some sort of binding vow again since his other 2 arms of left side are not in condition to perform hand signs or I am just thinking too much he could just do it the moment he saw gojo do it since he can learn anything by just seeing once but I am more inclined towards the first idea since it's first time in the series that someone is using a different hand sign for their domain rather than the regular one they use

Binding Vow is probably "Allow for a change in Hand signs, in exchange it only lasts fot 99 seconds and can't destroy inanimate objects" (I'm not sure about the last one, reading 258 gave the impression that he can't)

I'm guessing that Yuji's second Soul-Swap partner was Yuta because his understanding and use of RCT is the most compatible with Yuji (instinct-based). And *that* was what allowed Yuta to Copy Cleave and Dismantle. From occupying Yuji's body as opposed to eating the last finger like Sukuna assumed

9:13 I think there is a mistranslation here. When Sukuna opens his domain, it's said that he managed to open his domain without losing output nor RANGE. We are also shown the Shrine materializing in the air, like the regular Malevolent Shrine, in the middle of Shinjuku, without a shell around the area. In the follow up, it's said he is using an outer shell AND lost some range - and that now he has to use a binding vow to hit Maki, despite the fact that Malevolent Shrine always hit objects and never needed to target CE. This isn't complex, just clunky and outright self contradictory. And when we get a shot of the Domain Expansion from outside, it doesn't have a shell at all, but rather looks like a tornado. Brazilians translators working with the leaks translated that part as Sukuna being able to use Malevolent Shrine without losing output or range, and keeping the original complexity because otherwise he would lose the the binding vows that allows him to hit objects (and by extension Maki). Basically, Sukuna COULD have chosen to go for an "easier" domain expansion, create a shell around it and hit everyone like any other DE - but that separation of his mental world and the physical world would not only allow Maki to escape the DE, but would also cap his range, as he wouldn't allow an escape route (which is one of the biding vows for Malevolent Shrine). So Sukuna HAD to make a shell-less domain, fusing his mental world and the physical world, so he could hit Maki and not lose range, but he can't keep a complex ability like that for long, leading to the 99 seconds timer. In other words, the text boxes aren't explaining what his imperfect domain is, they are just explaining why he decided to open a domain he knew he couldn't maintain for long. TL;DR: I think the Malevolent Shrine's translation is wrong, in other languages it's being translated as Sukuna forcing himself into a complex ability that is very close to the original Malevolent Shrine that he can't maintain for long (instead of making a simpler shelled domain) because otherwise he would lose in range and not be able to catch Maki.

From what I picked up on from sukuna vs gojo is that it can defend against infinite void but it's not a perfect because it just slows down the effects of the domain. Sukuna was only able to use his simple domain while gojo's domain expansion was spread out too wide which was said to weaken the effects of sure hit techniques.
