It’s absolutely insane saying Sukuna is faster than light. Gojos purple isn’t FTL, you can very clearly see the attack travel across the forest towards hanami giving them time to react. And even in the latest chapter it travels across the city and doesn’t just appear in front of Sukuna. Yuta and Hakari don’t have an infinite amount of CE, and even if they did they can’t OUTPUT an infinite amount of CE.

Hakari has literally been stated by the narrator to have Infinite CE. There is no refuting that fact. Also I see your point with Yuta, but here's the thing, we still aren't exactly sure about Rika. She has been stated to have a bottomless pool of cursed energy so it's possible that she does have infinite CE. However, while both Hakari and Yuta can have infinite CE, they still only have access to these for 4 minutes and 11 seconds and 5 minutes respectively.

Either way even if they do have an infinite of CE it doesn’t change anything because they clearly can’t OUTPUT that amount of CE. If they could output that much Kashimo and Ryu would have been one shot, and they wouldn’t need to unseal Gojo to fight Sukuna because they could one shot Sukuna as well. They would also be able to reinforce their body with an infinite amount of CE making them invulnerable.

first of all, hollow purple is an imaginary mass created by mixing blue and red. Look up what imaginary mass is. Second, just because hollow purple was shown to travel that slow in the anime doesn't necessarily mean that it's actually slow. In case you didn't know, if the actual speeds of attacks in anime were shown, we wouldn't know what is going on because of how insanely fast it. Since you have a sasuke pfp, let's take sasuke for example. Sasuke's speed is AT LEAST massively hypersonic considering his feats. When sasuke is fighting, we can clearly and legibly see him moving at full speed. Do you think we can clearly and legibly see massively hypersonic movements?? So doesn't that make sasuke way below even mach 1?? Exactly!

@@mangafan1._.741 Although I do admit that Sukuna would lose to Black Clover, It's kind of hard to say that even Pattary could beat him if you read both Manga. First and foremost is the questionable scaling of speeds, because what's stated isn't consistent with what's shown. For example, the Mach 3 feat that's constantly thrown around. There are consistent feats that show that Sukuna is far, far above this, including dodging an imaginary mass attack, escaping the pull of a truly perfect sphere, and reacting to point-blank electromagnetic waves. Not feats that should be looked lightly upon, especially because he was in a weakened state. Soul Magic might not work on him because he recognizes the shape of his own soul, and therefore might be able to counteract it to some degree. Trying to poison him is laughable because he's immune to all poisons, so poison-based magic would be virtually useless against him. He has tanked two Red attacks to the face, which brings positive infinity into existence, and are twice as strong as Blue, which is the very concept of negative infinity made reality. He can survive without a heart, unlike Devils and most mortal beings in Black Clover, which is going to cause some issues. He can theoretically use Domain Expansion over five times, and the only reason why he couldn't go over four was because of Unlimited Void giving him brain damage. We do not know if the Fire Arrow and the Lightning Cursed Tool are the only tricky offensive techniques he has up his sleeves. His Domain Expansion does not have a barrier, so calling for reinforcements could mean calling for more meat to be ground into mist. He has no regard for human life, and will turn someone into cheap, powdered, pink Parmesan Cheese in less than a heartbeat for no reason other than he wanted to do so. He can and will attack the soul because he can, and therefore he shall. Mahoraga can quite possibly just adapt to magic in general if people keep fucking around and finding out, and then it's GG's for everyone in general. In summary, yes, Black Clover can beat Sukuna, especially so for the higher tier characters, but the lower they are on the totem pole, the more likely they're going to end up as Chorizo fillings. And as for Mahoraga; it's pretty simple. Anyone can win against him if they don't fuck around, because if they do, they're gonna find out. Yes, even Pattary. You just have to completely annihilate them in one go, and not leave a single piece behind.

Not a lot of depth in Sukuna's scale. Could've did more research on the calcs and how consistent the scaling is with those bullet feats. Gege already stated that bullet feat was "too much" and we later see Maki struggles with Mach 3, so she's not hypersonic off that feat at all. MHS to MHS+ is likely where Sukuna caps for now though, so most BC captains would probably doo doo on him.

Because his power is about stealing curse techniques and storing them in his Shrine. That is why he says "open" before using his fire technique, as it indicates opening of Shrine so he can use technique he chooses Of. It's not confirmed by author yet but this is the most logical thing that everyone agrees on. This also explains why Sukuna was shocked when Yuta impaled Yuji with his sword, as he most likely saw that Yuta power os very similar to his as Yuta can copy techniques instead of stealing tjem but that is head canon. That is why you shouldn't make lists like this before everything is revealed as it simply doesn't make nay sense

I think that Sukuna didn't steal her power because that would just doesn't make sense from story telling perspective as Jacobs Ladder is deus ex machina type of power that deals with everything except heavenly restrictions on level of Maki and Toji. So it wouldn't be wise for Gege to give him this power as he will corner himself as a writer similarly to what Kishimoto did with Madara where he couldn't figure out logical ways of defeating Madara so he had to do an ass pull with Kaguya. I think that i ln order to steal someone's technique Sukuna has to consume whole body or brain of his victim, as the brain itself is the most important part of body of any Jujutsu Sorcerer so it would make sense that brain is also the source of thay power, eventually your stomach as it is also stated that curse energy comes from your stomach while reverse curse energy comes from your brain Either way it is just as I told we don't know so many things about Sukuna yet but somehow people dare to make videos about him?? Also it’s not like the move is op, it works against evil, while it didn’t have enough power to kill or remove Sukuna from Megumi’s body. Also with angel still being alive, Yuji could use his soul studying to figure out away he could consume a piece of her gaining the power. Or he just body swop with Hana, and could either pull angel into his body or stay in Hana’s body, keeping his heavenly restriction abilities, like when Toji took over that sorcerer, all of his powers, and abilities are passed onto his host body. Yuji’s body is the same as Maki, and Toji’s, just with Sukuna being a loophole, allowing him to use curse energy, we already saw how if you can find a loophole around a binding vow, you can keep the perks.

One issue I've seen with power scaling is that people don't take matchups into account. Certain people making attacks that have a large area as their specialty, doesn't mean that characters that are more powerful can pull off the same feats. saying that Asta is more powerful than Vongance, for example, is true, however, it doesn't mean that Asta can heal others like Vongeance can or create attacks capable of incapacitating entire armies.

Great video! You should do one for other new gen anime villians. Off the top of my head i can think of EVANGALIST from Fire force who should still scale above every other villain in that era but shouldn't be comparable to concepts like madness or gods like shinrabonshoman, Lord death and the god tiers from soul reaper. She has planetary meta, High Uni meta and even multiversal meta as well as ftl-immesurable/infinite metas of speed. KAWAKI UZUMAKI who would just scale above the meta's for shippuden god tiers. They have planetary-solar system meta, High Uni meta and even Multiversal meta with ftl-mftl+ meta especially when you take into the fact how otsosuki get around the universe like shown with urashiki and multipliers. SHIGARAKI AFO who is the weakest but still has relativistic to ftl+ meta's and multi continental ap so he should be fun to talk about when compared to at most the third eye. COSMIC GAROU (Not god because we don't know enough about him yet) he has with Multi Galaxy-High Uni Metas of AP and Mftl+ speeds. He is just consistently the easiest to scale without bringing up multipliers like sage mode and curse mark for example or narrative implications like dimensions with him having more RAW destructive feats.

I would not be surprised if Gojo actually beat Sukuna but was in no state to even keep his Infinity on, then Kenjaku ("Geto") kills him in a way that doesn't use cursed energy, making him come back as a vengeful cursed spirit and making him vulnerable to Geto's CS manipulation. Then Kenjaku's ultimate cursed energy monster (the one he's going to create by fusing everything with Tengen, using Geto's maximum technique) would include Gojo too. Geto's CT also gives him the ability to use the ability of a cursed spirit once, so he could use Infinity. Six Eyes might even mean he never runs out of CE, so the "one" use of Infinity essentially lasts until he decides to turn it off, and Gojo will be shown in the next chapter to be capable of "healing" Infinity using RCT, allowing him to use his CT shortly after his domain expansion lol...

Personally I don’t even think we’ve seen half of what Sukuna can do with his own technique, until I see confirmation what he actually is and why he has the kind of power he does I always assume everything could get flipped. There’s enough foreshadowing of Sukuna being a fallen deity for it to concerning. He’s shown in his Heian era form holding the Hindu god of destructions weapon as a cursed tool, and at least one but maybe all of the tools he was shown with are all godly cursed tools. He was worshiped as a god at one point and even had a similar motif to sussano. He even compared Mahoraga power to legendary 8 headed serpent that he implies he killed, but In mythology was killed by sussano. He’s called the fucking fallen. 5:33 well Sukuna shouldn’t scale to any DE with his base attacks (as in CE punches and probably any of his techniques that isn’t being used to the maximum) since DE is peak jujutsu sorcery that is so draining can only be used once per day for the vast majority of people. And while Jogo’s DE is called coffin of the iron mountain the full extent of its size is a lot less clear than Dagon’s which is much more blatant. I think mountain/island level would be pretty fine for his base AP if some sort of statement later says something like his CE output is comparable to the CE needed to create a domain. (And I wouldn’t say Gojo was casual when he made that earthquake or how say how much he scales since we didn’t even see what he did exactly) 6:32 I believe Rubber bullets are much slower than normal ones so Maki’s feat would be significantly slower because of that. I know right, it makes no sense how Sukuna would scale to hollow purple or red when no one actually dodged it, it's debatable if even Gojo scales to it, and Hanami doesn't count as dodging it since she had lots of time to, 1, sense it and, 2, dodge, which she did, even todo and Yuji were moving while Gojo was charging up purple, so until we actually see someone dodge a point-blank purple, Jujutsu Kaisen's max speed is sub-Lightning and at best Country level AP. It is true Sukuna did react to the purple, but it's ambiguous whether he reacted to it after or before his attack since, Gojo made himself known and when Sukuna realized we didn't know if Gojo attacked yet or not (the author said he sensed the output last second), since Sukuna reacted prior to the destruction we've seen, whether that be because he sensed Gojo or if he out sped the attack. About the island and mountain feats, I dismiss them because the very nature of the System, like I said, unlike black clover JJK has a CE amount and CE output, while Black clover just has Magic amount. Due to the nature of CE, I think that CE amount is more like bullets in a magazine, rather than, energy empowering the gun itself, therefore even if I have enough bullets to shoot a thousand people, my bullet's power stays the same.

Hmmm, that infinity scaling and ftl scaling is quite sketchy, and comparing him to Dante and Lucifero is insane. In my opinion he's country level while being many times faster than lightning, because tbh not even Gojo really scales to hollow purple or any of his abilities, at least when it comes to infinity, because he even said he brings conceptual infinity, so it might not even be true infinity, so he might not actually bring infinite space into existence with red or actual infinite distance between him and his opponent, like he said he just slows them down so it might be that it's mathematical infinity meaning all the known properties of infinity apply to his abilities but idk, anyway when you said Yuta had infinite cursed energy it made me mald, because in series he said, 1, he could run out, and 2, he lost in a cursed energy fight because his output isn't that strong. But, ignoring all that I liked the narrative of Sukuna being in the Black Clover verse, it's such a cool scenario I never thought about, nor did I think of all the interactions or possibilities he'd have in the Black Clover verse, like eating a Devil Heart, or Absorbing the magic stones, or even having weg, it's so cool and the more you think about it, the more interesting it gets!

There are problems with that tho. We don’t know if his and his vessel’s energy levels get added to each other or if Sukuna overrides his host mana with his natural reserves of curse energy. Also, Sukuna can’t take over devils since they are the equivalent of curse spirits, not sure about devil hosts tho. There is also the case of willpower, the new host can limit Sukuna’s output like how Megumi did and nerf him. So tbh, switching bodies is not something that’s worth mentioning.

In an effort to provide some actually helpful criticism I'll explain my primary issue with the way you scale Sukuna in this video. To sum things up entirely, the best example of this video's flaws happens at 5:27. At this moment you go in depth on Sukuna's level of power and you explain that he has to be at least mountain level because Jogo can create mountains with his domain expansion despite being weaker. This is an incorrect scaling for a couple reasons. Firstly, Jogo doesn't make an entire mountain with his domain expansion. When you use domain expansion you create an enclosed area around yourself and your target, the inside of which embodies your cursed technique's primary strength and allows you to guarantee a free hit. Jogo creates an enclosed space, the inside of which has the appearance of the inside of a volcano, but that's not same as creating an entire mountain, because from the outside you wouldn't see an entire new mountain. Secondly, even if I go along with Jogo being able to create mountains, this line of logic fails to take into account why exactly Sukuna is more powerful Jogo. It comes down to technique and mastery, not raw power. Sukuna uses a technique that, while not having the descructive force of a volcano, can effectively kill almost anyone without even needing his domain expansion, on top of having a mastery of the fundamentals of Jujutsu Sorcery and basic combat that afford him additional skills. Sukuna has no mountain level feats, nor have we seen his abilities overpowering mountain level attacks with raw force.

Aside from the power level debate the only BC villain who comes close to Sukuna's writing greatness (in my opinion) is Patry since he was build up from the very beginning and had a face off with the series strongest character that he kinda won and kinda not. The elves were vengeful spirits that needed to be put to rest hence a peaceful send-off. Considering that BC was supposed to end after the elves incident, everything came together back then. The dark triade and devils wanted chaos for the mere sake of chaos. They had massive fights and a massive downfall as they closed the personal arcs for characters like Noelle,Finral,Langris,Nacht and Yami. Lucius and his paladins/angels are kinda hard to judge for me as the series isn't over yet.

Love how u structured this vid cuz it’s not at all what I was expecting. Under majority of circumstances, Sukuna gets stomped early. I do think u still had a few things incorrect here. Sukuna doesn’t survive as far as you say, specifically I think I may just lose to mars. If not though, def the third eye. When anyone in jjk loses their head, they can’t rct cuz that comes from the brain. Also, he shouldn’t be lightspeed, unless u do count the electro wave things from Kashimo, but I think that isn’t exact. Even though it’s stated, hakari is like one of the top of the verse, and he’s not even lighting speed. I just don’t see how a weakened Sukuna can dodge lightspeed attacks and a jackpot hakari is not even a lighting timer. And each time he gets stronger (magic stones, devil heart, salamander, and he’d prolly get a grimoire since he can use rct, which would be positive energy, which would be mana, and he has the potential/luck to get a 4leaf, and has the cursed energy control to maybe make a 5leaf, this is getting far fetched, so I’d say he at least gets a grimoire with some kind of ability, probably charmy’s food magic since he’s surrounded by food symbolism). He can prolly go super far, and maybe get on that tier of wizard king level. However he does hard stop at Lucious. Maybe 100% fully manifested devils, but def hard stop at Lucious.

Everyone saying hollow purple isn’t light speed needs to understand that scaling is based on realism, you can’t properly scale fiction so you have to apply some level of actual real world physics to the situation to give it an actually feasible scaling. With purple, the attack most likely is slowed down for the viewer to take their time to enjoy the visuals of the attack, without a slow speed, it would go by in the blink of an eye, making the scene much more boring to watch for the first time. Animes often do this as watching people who can scale to light speed fight in really time would be a snooze fest if animated properly, since you literally wouldn’t be able to see anything. Sometimes it can be done well, but the entire fight can’t just be animated at light speed or else you risk losing those cool moments such as gojos hollow purple. Also keep in mind that Hanami had the time to dodge the attack and was already retreating before it was even thrown in their direction, meaning that we can’t use this feat to scale the speed of purple. A more reasonable speed feat is in one of the latest chapters when gojo uses the 200% hollow purple, sukuna is unable to dodge in time even from the massively large distance away gojo was. I will admit part of this was because of the barrier that was placed before his attack, however even if sukuna never sensed it, he still should have been able to see and detect it once it was actually launched, meaning that in actuality, purple is so fast that sukuna (one of, if not the strongest in the verse) was unable to react to hollow purple in time, based on reaction time alone. You can tell he was hit because he’s missing a hand, showing he just barely dodged a lethal blow because he was so caught off guard by the attack’s potency, as well as his inability to sense it’s casting. Finally I think reversed curse technique is an extremely slept on ability in the jjk verse, and when pitted against other verses can severely outweigh the outcome of the battle unless the oppenent has healing abilities as well. In black clover, where healing is an attribute that you have and not a base ability that can be learned, I find it surprising not more people are talking about sukunas survivability. He can literally instantly heal any non insta-lethal wound with ease. Cleave and dismantle are also invisible, so any character in black clover who doesn’t also have the Ki ability like yami and asta have (not sure if I spelled that right but you get the idea) would be instantly taken off guard by this attack and would be rendered defenseless, especially against cleave. Not to mention now that he has control of megumis body, the ten shadows technique and domain expansion are at his disposal, making him exceptionally dangerous. If we are equating mana to cursed energy in this match up, sukunas dear shikigami would be able to nullify all magic in its radius, making most mages in black clover completely powerless. Adding on to the fact that he has mahoraga which is already broken and is shown to even be able to adapt to imaginary concepts like infinity. An example of this is when sukuna is fighting yorozu and she creates the truth sphere with her domain expansion, stated to contain infinite pressure. Once mahoraga is summoned, since it had already adapted to her technique he is able to slice through the truth sphere with ease, which astonishes yorozu. I know this is a lot to read but I’m basically trying to say that a lot of people in this comment section are sleeping on the jjk verse and they gotta wake up cause some of these characters are actually broken.

After watching the vid and also reading a lot of the comments, I've come to the conclusion that many people are conflating speed feats with AP/durability feats. Character X being faster than character Y doesn't mean that Y can't just tank all X's attacks and then one shot em(kinda like how Red Rush vs Omniman went in Invincible), and him tanking a buffed hollow purple in the most recent chapter puts his durability above what most of the BC villains can throw at him...to me at least. I WILL concede that you're probably correct that Sukuna doesn't make it past Devil Zenon, but only because of the whole saint stage thing...but if he were to get Salamander...you see where I'm goin here. All that said, I'm gonna have to whole-heartedly disagree with your statement in the other post that Sukuna using his DE to completely decimate that 140m radius of Shibuya pretty much instantly is "weaker than ch. 1 Revchi." The same Revchi that was unable to defeat Asta without his grimoire and was then one shot 30 seconds later? No way. You said yourself that Sukuna would qualify for Arcane Stage, which would mean that Melevolent Shrine would theoretically be able to decimate most of the BC villains simultaneously, no?

You seem to have very blatantly misunderstandings of not only how strong BC villains are but how they can defeated. And I have no idea how you came to the conclusion that I’m conflating speed feats with AP/durabilty feats. Revchi is city level by scaling more than 1% as strong as William whose at least large mountain level. City level > 140M destruction lol

Love all your vids, this one included, and can confidently say that you're in my top 10 fav anime content creators on this platform! That being said, the speed feat comment was aimed more at the people in the comments than the actual video. That's my b, it was late and I was tired so I worded that weird. 😅 I have a decent understanding of how strong they are in their verse, much like I understand how strong Sukuna is in his... but hear me out.... You can say Revchi is city level and have the stats to back that up, but my argument is that those are arbitrary calculations because do you really think the same guy that was one shot by ch. 1 asta is eating ANYTHING in 20 fingered Sukuna's arsenal and walking away from it? And then let's not forget that most of these villains are just regular humans who WILL die if they get slashed up into a million pieces from 100m away. There is the mana skin argument there, but if we're saying mana and cursed energy are comparable then cleave will neg that. As far as Sukuna's durability goes...I think it's fair to say that the closest thing that comes to hollow purple in the BC verse is Dante's singulation spell, yeah? Tell me one non-devil in BC who is tanking that head on and walking away...it just logically makes no sense to me unless you're saying that most of BC scales above current manga Gojo, but that's a different topic.
