Toji zenin was misunderstood so much, he was that one blemish on the zenin clan because in their eyes he is not worthy yet ironically he was the strongest amongst his clan with no cursed energy. Back in the time he made a decision to sell his son to the clan because he knew that he is going to be treated like a prince there due to the abilities he inherited so toji had no choice but to do that and kept convincing himself that he doesn't care while he truly cares and his actions were coming from unconditional love and a parent who wants his son to be raised in better conditions not in the shadow of an angry assasin who can die anytime. Yes selling him was not the best option but it was the only one until gojo appeared and toji's parental love has shown in his last moments where he only thought about his son and what will come to him after his death, so now again he was given q a chance to see his son grown under gojo's love and protection he found peace
