I actually found some german and french iris sellers in the meantime that carry those hybrids but sadly not dragons dance. You definitely picked some of the most interesting ones ;)

yes, they grow back very well. for the old fashioned climber, you wouldn't even know I cut from it but it's a once bloomer so it will grow through the summer as leaves/green. The others all do very well when cut, I try to cut from them at leaf nodes and where I can encourage them to grow, as you would if just pruning. Thank you so much!

I design in my client's preferred color palette and shop from what's in season but I don't grow flowers for my weddings, if I can cut anything to bring from the garden for the wedding it's just a bonus. I just grow what I love for me and consider them to be exciting unexpected additions if I can use them for a client.
