Elder Princess Shroob schould at least be an A. The second phase is so amazing. Her attack patterns are frightening, the atmosphere with the purple sky, and the music… don't even get me started on the awesomeness of the music. Good ranking overall, but Elder Princess Shroob truly deserved a higher place.

I love Shiny Robo Bowser a lot, but I honestly prefer the Bowser and Paper Bowser phase of the fight. Like, SRB is epic and all, but for some reason just the raw, mono-a-mono battle with the regular Bowser's just can't be beat imo

I think that you should have separated Elder Princess Shroob between the first phase and the second phase like you did with the two Bowser and the Shiny Robo Bowser. Not at all the same fight. For me, Elder Princess Shroob's second phase deserves at least A. It's literally a summit battle determining the fate of two civilizations. The Shroobs are sacrificing themselves, letting their monarch shoot at their ships to make them crash on the bros! And the Princess herself can attack so many times in one turn. And there's the fact that you have to attack the legs first to lower her body in order to attack the crown to make her vulnerable. It can be a very long and difficult process, and you have to repeat it if you don't manage to kill her before the crown and the legs regenerate. And she has SO. MUCH. LIFE! Many agree to say that she is the hardest battle in all of the Mario & Luigi games. I saw people spend hours on it.

The Bowsers Inside Story final fight is absolute perfection. I remember loving it as a kid but I recently replayed the 3DS version a couple months ago and it absolutely holds up. The music, the attacks and the mechanics everything meshes together so well and results in absolute perfectionnnn. Amazing video!!

Friendly reminder on the final boss of inside story: bowser was literally willing to fight an endless battle without ever knowing that Mario and Luigi are inside his body that finished off the dark star core. Thus, weakened dark bowser to the point he was finally vulnerable.

@@megaedge2762 I think the level scaling of Bowser, as well as the last Bros move, have always been very unbalanced in terms of the final boss haha. It feels more narrative than difficult, but I can see wanting a real struggle as well.

I felt like i cheated at dream teams final bosses. and that's because I ground some badge effects that let you freeze an enemy for 2-3 turns, during which time you could wail on whatever boss you're fighting so much so you destroy them.

I still remember my past childhood when I first played Partners in Time and not Superstar Saga because I never had a Game Boy Advance back then, then of course it was Bowser’s Inside Story, Dream Team, Paper Jam, and the remake of Superstar Saga because I never played the original and I didn’t ever play the remake of BIS because I already played the original which I felt like I wasn’t enticed to play the remake but then I of course played the Game Boy Advance online on Switch which is SS which now I would’ve almost have played every single Mario & Luigi game if I would’ve thought of getting the remake of BIS. So yeah, that’s my whole story of my life of my M&L experiences.

If i had to rank the main final bosses it’d go 5. Dreamy bowser (fight was okay but i found it really easy compared to the other final bosses) 4. Cackletta soul (very challenging fight I remember taking about 40 something tries to beat her on the GBA but was having a great time learning her patterns) 3. Dark bowser/ dark star core (all 3 of the others could be interchanged but i had to put them at 3 but the theme is amazing and the fight was very fun and unique) 2. Elder princess shroob (this fight had me traumatized from how hard it is and you can hear in the music and see in the battle the shroobs just want to destroy but it was such a good time) 1. Shiny robo bowser (nostalgia overtakes me because i played this fight when my life seemed like it couldn’t get better and this fight gave me the best time with my favorite final boss song in the mario and luigi series)
