"This is only my opinion and nobody else's." -> Bowser from BiS is his Nr. 1 -> Loves the concept of fighting himself There's a lot of parts I absolutely agree with on the entire list, but THIS part is my thoughts exactly. Fighting yourself is always my favourite concept in fighting games, but a lot of times those moments turn 'weird', as your 'opponent' starts using their attacks in a way you never have, or has completely different attacks or even abilities. But in this fight specifically? He uses the attacks in the EXACT same way as you. It's such a great detail to me that they made counters to all of those attacks you use. I'm very happy to see you share those thoughts, a really good list imo!

3:55 I managed to cheese wisdurm with the green shell. You only do defensive attacks when it's small so it's your turn when shwe transforms, then use a perfect green shell with mario and then luigi. By the time it's her turn, she transforms back to small, and repeat this until she dies. The small form is easy unlike the big form, so it works.

4:26 Elder Shrooboid's interesting as it has the 1st actual unavoidable attack in the series via its spin attack Granted it can be avoided as well as it being rng if it does it or not, which I can confirm its possible to never see this attack. I counted at least 4 or more hammer counters are needed to stop this, but you'll realize that Pit's hammer counter literally isn't made to counter multiple times in quick succession even when the 1st hit's done at the earliest possible frame, so its a true unavoidable. weirdly another video on Pit has evidence of it missing. A Jump/Hammer only low level run of Pit's deff possible but its impossible for a human purely due to this unavoidable attack. 6:30 I can confirm torkscrew, in Dream team's hard mode, is the hardest early game 650hp wall in dream team at a low level+no bros attacks or items. all cuz of its underground poke. it intentionally delays it, from 0-1 seconds, to 1, 1.5 and 2 seconds at half hp, in that exact order. this really gets you a lot, made more nerve-wracking since it one shots the bros at level 8 in hard mode w/these restrictions 19:12 Junker, in DS BIS w/Challenge medal and no equips, low level, no bros attacks or badges, is actually unique in that it becomes a 2k hp Mario solo. and you got 1 less button to worry about since Junker tosses Luigi in a Junker Can. basically protecting Luigi. also, freeing Luigi in a low level run pointless cuz Junker will just toss him back in. Dark Star, which I'm surprised isn't on here, is actually the hardest boss in DS BIS in a low level no equips(cept challenge medal), no items, no badges, no bros items, Jump/Hammer/Punch/Fire Breath only, for a lot of reasons: 1. Dark Star's interesting, cuz its 4 color orb attack, specifically if it goes top to bottom and is 4 of the same color orbs, is actually frame-perfect and near-unavoidable in DS BIS. ie if you jumped the 2nd orb wrong, the 4th orb will always catch mario and luigi right in their hitbox right as they attempt to jump it. I can confirm this's absolutely true in DS BIS. the reason I found why it happens is cuz the 4th orb is closer to the screen when Dark Star chooses top to bottom, compared to Bottom to top, which's more spread out. 2. I did hear that Dark Star's thankfully been nerfed in the remake since it seems to have 1 extra vulnerable cycle turn+Easier to dodge the same 4 color orb attack if its top to bottom, instead of how brutal the DS version is, granted the DS version does show how powerful it is in a sense, due to the quirks it had. 3. also, in DS BIS at least, the Dark Star's vulnerable cycle is explicitly tied to it, Mario's and Luigi's speed stats. so if Mario+Luigi with no speed level upgrades(including no equipment) were say level 22, the bros would get 1 attack each, then Dark Star rises again immediately after. also, because it gains the ability to heal 30 hp strictly after the 2nd cycle, it makes the fight like this at level 22, even w/Excellent+POW Badge x2 damage+Hammer Luckies, Impossible, as it can heal 90-120 or more hp. in fact I can confirm level 36's the exact level Mario has to be at to outspeed Dark Star w/no equipment and stache only on level up, which grants mario 1 extra turn each vulnerable cycle. W/o bros attacks, items, equipment, badges(cept the excellent+POW! Badge x2 damage, I can confirm this is literally required) and Jump/Hammer+Punch/Fire Breath only, Challenge medal always on(after Scutlet), as well as Stache/Horn only on level up(has to be +3 or its a reset), all called "Nerve Mode": I can deff confirm Dark Star is the absolute hardest boss in DS BIS under these restrictions, but it+the entire game's winnable like this. otherwise, its most deff an easy yet menacing boss cuz of the tools you have. whereas in nerve mode, its without a doubt one of the most aggressive bosses in the series in DS BIS. best part bout these nerve mode challenges for each M&L game, is they can completely change your perspective on several bosses you may have thought were easy, all cuz of stuff(includin Jank hitboxes) no one would've ever thought about nor had to think about before, like w/Dark Star for example

You forgot antasma from dream team, fawful (endgame) from superstar saga, and dark fawful from bowsers inside story Also, for the elder shrooboid, why is he so low? You went on and on about how you love the concept of the shroob commander, but look at elder shrooboid. Its a double callback, both to the tutorial boss when the green shrooboid comes back in time in the time machine, and the death ship that defeats the adult bros at the start of the game. I think the concept of a tutorial enemy having a much stronger variant that turns out to be a major boss is a great concept, and the turn counter that you have to keep updating with your counter attacks help keep the fight on edge. You even said how the timers for the koopalings in superstar saga was good
