It really does seem like a lot of people don’t understand medieval life for women and men. According to history, to ACTUAL history, Ahmed was completely smitten with her. Adored her until his dying day. That says a lot that a love story like theirs endures for hundreds of years.

Jessica Bella Andy Kosem's character as a strong minded person with strong and kind heart is awesome. This is her story so you should watched till the 30th episode when Kosem has triumphed and victorious fighting all the evil sheme protecting their children and the throne with her smart and wise judgement and decisions that are one step advance of that of the enemies that paid off at the end and had all those responsible punished by execution. Bubul's wise judgement favoring Kosem throughout their struggles has helped her a lot. Had it not for him Kosem and her surviving little male children could have lost their lives.

Anastasia is her Greek name (it’s tradition that she was the daughter of a Greek Orthodox priest, captured by pirates, but there’s little evidence of this) and then her name was changed to Mahpeyker, meaning “moon-framed or moon face) but when she became Ahmed’s favorite she was renamed, either by him or herself, kosem, meaning “leader of the pack”

Ok I think I can watch the drama now then. I watched a couple clips before but me not knowing they were the same, I didn’t like how he was sooo in love with Anastasia and then later on she disappears and he fell for kosem.
