Yes Emetullah Rabia Gulnus was most underrated Haseki sultan ever. She was also a powerful sultan definitely not like Kösem sultan, but like Nurbanu sultan or Turhan sultan. But not a single historians talk about her 😔

But comparing Gulnus to Mahidevran, isn't it a sin 😒. Cz Mahidevran didn't have any power only in Mustafa s province she had some little power. Moreover she had great influence on sultan just like Hürrem, or i can say her influence was much more stronger than byrr, why you know. Cz previously no sultana went on hunting with sultan, but Gulnus was the first one who went on hunting and expedition with sultan. Gulnus was valide sultan to her 2sons and she was the one who successfully deposed her 1son sultan and made 2nd son sultan. I can give you reference also.

Thodoris Maroundas, because after Turan sultans time, reforms were made in the ottoman empire which did not let any woman to gain that much power ever again. Plus the empire had already started falling in soo much decline. There were also such laws before harem sultans time which constricted women from gaining authorities, for example the law of not marrying a concubine and the law of not having more than one child with one concubine but these laws were broken by sultan Suleman which led to women gaining power over authorities and from that time the "sultunate of women" started and it ended after turban sultans time where women once again could not gain much authorities and also the empire had already fell into decline.

Turhan was only one in Ottoman history who to equally share the power of running the empire with sultan legally. And of course she had a title of regent officially and ruled openly. Kosem and Turhan are the only ones who have held this title officially. Turhan had a title equal to the Empress. Only Kosem and Turhan had full power, while Hurrem, Safiye, and Nurbanu had no such power.
