She gave the vibe like she is the hottest woman with the best body and the way she looked at the other girls many times was subtly bitchy and arrogant. Of course she couldn't believe she wasn't chosen. But guys who are really looking for a relationship don't just look at a "hot" body, they look at the chemistry and spark they feel for the girl. Unfortunately Se Jeong only displayed her "hot" body superpower but the other girls came across having more to offer. I have noticed a few bitchy glances she gave to the girls even from the beginning.

When she would tell Seul-ki things it was to try and make her jealous/feel a way. I am definitely impress on Seulki's choice. We all saw how she likes Jinyoung, so we did not totally expected her pick. I love how she respected herself at the end that she would rather be with a man who gives her comfort, assurance, and security than be with a man who makes her flutter and feel butterflies but was never certaint about her. Plus, he showed so many sides at the almost end of the episode from when he 'almost' went to nadine, asking her sensitive question at the bonfire just to up punch jongwoo infront of everyone, and just him being so insensitive and indecisive. She said that the reason she chose Jongwoo over Jinyoung is because she feels more loved and appreciated when she's with him. He taught her things about love and such. She feels more comfortable and relaxed aroung Jongwoo well compared to jinyoung whom she feels somewhat uncomfy but excited however it did not gave her peace. I also feel like when she's with Jinyoung, she was not totally herself because she wants to impress maybe that is why she showed a lot of skin on their pool scene (my girl was obviously uncomfortable on that swimsuit) which made sense when she mentioned, that around jongwoo she feels more like her real self so on their pool scene she wore something she feels comfortable to wear and was more relaxed to swim with him because in her other dates on inferno, the guys always asked her to swim, it's either she reject the offer or think about it, on the other hand, she was the one who offers jongwoo to swim which says a lot. Actually, my take on Jinyoung is completely different. I think Jinyoung choosing Seulki in the end shows that he really liked her. Because if u thought about it, he was the only one (among people who pursued Seulki) who actually thought through this seriously. He talked with all the girls, weighted his options, and in the end of ep8, he made a decision that he wanted to pursue Seulki. He even blatantly rejected Minsu instead of beating around the bush like Yoongjae. And in ep10, he was thinking whether he and Seulki could actually have a future together, since he isn’t well off and he had no way of knowing the fact that Seulki came from a rich family. He was even afraid of not being able to give time to her. But after considering all that, he eventually decided to choose Seulki because he was sure of his own feelings. Unlike Jongwoo, who was just thinking about how much he liked the girl. And looking like he's about to cry any second Seulki says anything related to Jinyoung. He didn’t even think about any other factors that are clearly important when they go back to their real lives. That to me is real immaturity. 🤷🏻‍♀️ I feel like the only problem with Jinyoung is him not clearly communicating his feelings and thus making the other party confused or insecure. To me, by the end of the show, both of them have their own flaws but Jinyoung was definitely better and more authentic. The only pure green flags in the show are Hanbin and Sejun, who clearly showed how to love a woman unconditionally without giving any stress to the other person. Jongwoo was just not it. 💁🏻‍♀️

Pretty sure half the drama was staged, but their emotions were real. You've got to think this from their pov as well. They were basically stranded on an island together for 9 days. The only thing they were made to think about was about their feelings for the person they liked, and how to make them like you. In real life, when you have a crush on someone, unless it's really intense, you don't put all your emotions and thought into it because you have other things to do, you have social media etc. But here, the contestants were literally made to fight each other to win dates with the person they liked. And we can see here, both Jongwoo and Minsu had 2 and 3 other people who liked the same person they liked. Combine that with the fact that they were literally stranded on an island with nothing to help them cope with their frustrations and all they could do was try their best, while watching the other contestants also try their best with the same person. Jongwoo had a big crush on Seulki, but Seulki was always occupied with Jinyoung. That can be really emotionally hard to take in, when all you can do is think of that 24/7. The same with Minsu. That girl came in late which was hard enough already because the other contestants were already coupled before. I agree that many parts of the show were set up, but as I said, the feelings they felt were still real. But except the obvious staged scenes, and the somewhat toxic editing of the show to make certain people seem crazy when they aren't, *cough* So-e* cough*, the show in itself isn't bad. I don't get why people were mad at Jinyoung for choosing Seulki at the end. He obviously liked her more and there is nothing wrong with him going on dates with other girls as that is what people are actually supposed to do on this show. I was low-key annoyed with Jong-woo (although I like him) for being hung up on Seulki the entire season. Additionally you can't be so mad at Jinyang for being hesitant about Seulki because he had genuine concerns and he highlighted them. You have to remember that they were only on this island for like 8 days it's not easy to just make decisions after talking to multiple people as well. Jin-yang actually gave other people a chance.

For me I kinda saw that Jin young and seulki had that sexual attraction going on but I didn’t really feel like they had much in common. When they were together it was kinda flirty but none of their convos really stood out as ‘they’ve really clicked’ kinda moment. They always seemed a little distant. I feel like jin young would have chosen her for all of the paradise dates but didn’t really express it to her. With Jung woo I felt that they had a few more things in common (the cafe, coffee, age) maybe he was coming on a little strong so that made her feel a bit pressured but it felt like he was more clear with his emotions. She didn’t really get to spend much time one on one with Jung woo till the last few episodes so we didn’t get to see them together much. She doesn't drink where as both Dong Woo and Jinyoung drank in paradise - although Jinyoung at least didnt pressure her to drink. On the other hand, I dont recall seeing Jongwoo drink when he went with her. That last conversation between JY and Seulki was heart breaking. She confessed to him and he showed his vulnerability about his realities/concerns for their future. We know he gets embarrassed about showing his emotions/feelings. He was thinking the long term goal and thought she was worth marriage. I don't Seulki realized that and protected her heart by choosing the safe choice. Seulki's date with JW was all about making it the best day for him - but not for her.

As someone who's married to the guy that liked her first, that waited for her and that put in effort... The one that gives you butterflies is never a good option. It's better to be sat near a constant fire, rather than a bright candle. The candle might be prettier and seem brighter, but it's more fragile and runs out. Jungwoo put in the effort, and although clumsily (and rather immaturely) he expressed his feelings well from the beginning. Sure, Seulki might have had more sexual synergy with Jinyoung, but those are things that go away. I had to make a similar choice when I was getting to know my husband, and I'm glad I chose my Jungwoo instead of my Jinyoung.

nah i could tell that seulki was getting pissed with jinyoung. he kept playing aloof with his feelings and was using her because he knew that she really liked him. you could tell that while watching the last two episodes that she was just done with emotionally investing herself with him. i think that she and jongwoo actually had a bit of chemistry going on and that she wanted to see him as a potential romantic partner which i think somewhat happened. but like you said, jinyoung and seulki just have sexual tension, however im not sure if she's just gonna go off of that. also the scene at the campfire was just jinyoung trying to one up jongwoo for no fucking reason like challenge confess ur true feelings absolutely failed.

I really don't think Jongwoo was a backup plan. Jinyoung always made her feel unsure, never secure in what they had going on. Almost manipulative in a way... as if he was dangling a worm infront of her face and I think he knew it too. I think he is different and has a charm that excites women like Seul-ki but I didn't feel like they had a deeper connection than that. Jongwoo on the other hand was this steady beam of support all throughout the show for Seul-ki and his thoughtfulness, perserverance and innocent/silly charm gradually but steadily warmed her heart the most. Something Jinyoung didn't put effort into doing since he was still trying to get to know the other girls too.

I think the reason they get so emotional is because of multiple things. Firstly, people form deep relationships through different experiences. And secondly, they're 'stranded' on an island, with only two things to think about. Their heart(who they may have feelings for) and 'surviving' with people who are also thinking about their love life. As we all know, the show doesn't allow people to build relationships at the average pace, with your regular circumstances. But I do think So-e was doing too much, considering she got rejected multiple times, but kept crying after trying again. I'm glad she started smiling in the last few episodes. And Nadine... I was so pissed. Jinyoung was literally in the same position as in Love&Joy(another korean dating show on KZbin). He failed there as well. Last time, he just didn't give the girl certainty. This time, Seulki had no assurance, and he led on Nadine. Making her think she had a chance of Seulki and their 'sexual tension' with his chat about being 'curious' and 'cute'. I feel like Nadine kinda sorta got led on. But tbh as much as I like her, and her fans never wanna admit that she was doomed from the start. She lives full time in the U.S. Long distance is already hard living a few hours away from someone, but living on the other side of the planet, that’s really hard. But could’ve been possible if she was about to graduate and willing to move. But she’s going to medical school, that’s an additional 7 years. My sister is in med school, they have no time, unlike undergrad, she only has 6 weeks off in the summer, about two ish weeks for Christmas+new years a week for spring break and two days for thanksgiving. That’s only 9 free weeks out of the entire year, she’d only see her potential partner at most once or twice a year, for seven years. And none of them seem willing to move to the u.s to be with her. And in general you don’t usually get long term partners from these type of shows especially this one since it’s so short. But she really had a small chance of getting a partner. I feel like guys would at least be more willing if she lived in Korea, bc there was initial interest.

Hope JinYoung strengthens his friendship with Nadine…they really do share several common interests…He was very perceptive in getting the impression she was professionally serious. Nadine, on the other hand, has been realistic about JinYoung interested with Seul-ki. But they do share interest in the military…he was a SEAL, Nadine mentioned in a past video entering West Point as a first choice goal …she does like sharp shooting, is into sports, fast cars/motorcycles (she knows her fave F1 Drivers), and both have good sense of fashion. Yeah, I don't think Seul-Jongwoo will end up together after the show. She clearly and made it obvious that Jinyoung is the one. Yes you can say he was persistent but he was so emotional and pressing it was proper weird to watch and you could see she didn’t want to hurt him. Jongwoo is a really great guy. If i bumped into him on the street along with the other guys I would’ve fallen for both Han bin or Jong Woo. Seul-ki obviously had intense feelings for Jinyoung as she always smiled next to him and kept confessing her feelings to him. I low-key wish Seulki could've left on her own. It's clear she liked Jinyoung more but he couldn't give her what she needed in the time they had. If she has just walked out on her own I would've respected that so much cause I really don't think her and Jongwoo have a romantic connection. But that's just my 2 cents

From the very start of the show Jungwoo caught my attention . He stayed calm and never forced seulki to feel his emotions. I think sincerity matters and wins tooo. I just love that guy❤

I was soo sure seulki and jinyoung got together too, but the second part of the reunion only confused me. he told jongwoo (which was like. very considerate of him not going to lie) that seulki felt way less comfortable around him, and that during their meetings he could tell that she wasn't fully there, and he knew that she was always happy with jongwoo. i feel like had jinyoung and seulki actually started dating, the reunion wouldn't have happened or jinyoung would have kept his mouth shut during their scenes. but then again, if i were jongwoo i'd cry (this time for a good reason) if i later watched the reunion and saw my girlfriend say that she still feels butterflies watching the sexy pool scenes 😭

People are so fast when it comes to deciding which couple have real feelings for them and which couple only have sexual tension like who the hell do you think you are to determine what they feel for each other did they personally tell you like wtf? And fyi jongwoo confirmed that seulki and him never dated and seulki literally comments on jinyoungs posts and even wished him bday so yeah true love over sympathy😂

Unsure of how I felt about seulki choosing jungwoo because you could obviously see the disappointment in her face when he stood next to Nadine, then you saw her big smile when he walked towards Seulki. I feel like if Jinyoung was more straight forward about his feelings for her, she would have chosen him, no question asked. I think what jinyoung did at the end was actually the breaking point for her, but she wasn't sure if his feelings were the same or if even if he did like her, his feelings would change after the show.

Seulki and Jongwoo are a great together I feel cause they have so much in common and have a cute chemistry. The way they interact is so lovely. I hope she didn't choose him she cause she sympathizes for him

This video is spot on and the most insightful I've come across. SK picked her backup plan at the end to get one up on JY. The cast reunite video was posted before Netflix aired the show. The cast is only watching short highlights and not the full show otherwise they'll be sitting there for almost 10 hours and Dong Woo mentioned he's not sure how much of the tug of war challenge would be shown as he was explaining he had to overcome YJ in the first round to the audience. I think the reunite video was taken shortly after the show ended last July otherwise it would have been almost impossible to get them to come back when they go back to their lives and Nadine goes back to the US. What has happened after filming ended and the show finished on Netflix: 1 - SK has not posted any pics of her and JW 2 - JW has not posted any pics of him and SK 3 - SK never mentioned any thoughts of going to the US during the show 4 - JY mentioned he was going to the US soon to shoot footage for his channel 5 - SK posted a pic of her smiling with a guy that was taken months after filming ended when SK was in the US. 6 - The side profile of the guy is the same as JY. So I think your thoughts of SY ditching her doormat and hooking up with JY after the show is spot on.
