Rosie blessed us with a consistent and strong debut, pouring her emotions into this body of work; it's a non-skip album imo, also the minimalist production suited her very well.

The fact that Rosé was so anxious/apprehensive about showing this level of humanity in her music is proof of how stifled and inhibited some Korean artists feel within the idol system. In interviews, she seemed almost conditioned to believe she wasn’t “allowed” to express her humanity because the industry demands perfection. She literally had to de-program herself but I’m glad she did because it made for better for honest music!

You're the first person that disliked Stay a little longer lol It seems to be the people's favorite. It's interesting that opinions on which are the the best or worse songs are very different. I think her album draws inspiration from the 2000's pop music that she liked and it was a story she wanted to tell. I wonder if they knew APT was going to be such a hit and it gave her freedom to do the rest as she liked... I'm excited to see what she does next.

This whole album reminds me of the indie pop I used to listen to in the early 2010s. I like that she tapped into a few different pop styles, and she seemed to really enjoy writing these songs, which is great!! Overall, it's a really good debut, especially for someone going solo for the first time and changing their sound up quite a lot! Excited to see/hear more from her! Until then, DRINKS OR COFFEEEEEEE 💃🏾

I think the line "What if I tangled some ropes to your feet into the ocean 'cause I'm in too deep” is represent that she's also toxic, not just the ex. She wanted him to always be with her, drowning together in an ocean called love, doesn't care if it would be kill them. Just like the music video Toxic Till The End, they both were toxic, they sabotaged each other. This rosie album references to the same guy in each the songs, so they're connected.

i really feel like she focused on the lyrics for the story, the emotions and her vocals, and less on the whole prod vibes for now just to give this album like an “intro” to her name as a soloist which explains the lack of background sound, twas also cohesive as an album so kudosss. personally think it gave off much more of that raw and authentic art that she intentionally wanted to show first for her debut album 💗 i just think for her next era, it will def be a pop pop sounding maybe even pop rock
