I was recently faced with having to replace the battery in a new Umidigi f2. Everybody said that the f2 had a metal frame well it's not metal but cheap plastic and kept trying to melt when applying very little heat. I thought these were good phones until I saw the inside of mine. Now I see why no repair shops I called would work on Umidigi phones. They also have problems getting any data signal from Att or Tmobile carriers. Never over charged the battery but it swelled up pushing the back cover away from the frame anyway. I'm terribly disappointed 😞

I decided not to give up on my Umidigi F2 and ordered all the extra parts I could find from AliExpress. I'm going to rebuild it myself. It was a great phone before the battery swelled up. All of the parts only cost around $40.00 Thank you for your quick response

@@kennethstocks3096 Like you said, my battery is also swelled up and pushing the back cover.Now why don't you operare without back cover. In fact I did it for several months.Look at picture. twitter.com/hibinokurashi1/status/1502543837402525696

F2の画面が割れていて交換しようと思ってたんですが、やり方がわからなくて、、、 助かりました！

バックパネルはヒートガンで温めると比較的簡単にカードを差し込むことができました。液晶サイドは剥がれにくい印象でした。あと動画内で触れていませんが、システムカバーを外すときに、2ｍｍ程度の＋マークがついた白いシールで隠されたネジが１本あります。システムカバーの右側下部です。必ずシールを剥がしてネジを外してください。一見、見えないので全部ネジを外したつもりでパネルを引きはがすと破損します。

kazu S.さん、 あらら😥あの悲痛な想いは私だけで充分です。さて、購入元ですが仰る通りアリです。28ドル程度でした！安倍総理が退任して円高気味なので今輸入するなら、もう少し安く買えるかもです。ヒートガンも千円もしないものです。悲しみを乗り越えましょう！自分で修理すれば、スマホの買い替えよりはお安く済むはず！幸運を🤞

It appears that thermal paste was applied to the motherboard of the phone when it left the factory. Is it necessary to apply thermal paste when reassembling the phone ? If thermal paste is required, which parts should be applied ? I would be glad if you can answer.

Hello.First of all, thank you for the video. The subject I want to ask you is about the Umidigi Power Model phone. My Umidigi Power phone has run out of battery, but there is no one selling this battery in my country and on Aliexpress. (1-2 companies that sell don't shipping to my country) The battery features of the Umidigi Power Phone and the battery features of the Umidigi S3 Pro, Umidigi F1, Umidigi F1 Play and Umidigi F2 models are exactly the same. (Battery specifications of these models: Li-polymer battery, Capacity: 5150mAh 19.83Wh, Nominal Voltage: 3.85V, Limited charge voltage: 4.4V, Standard: GB / T 18287 - 2013 1ICP5 / 65/87) Will it be compatible if I take it and assemble the anybody battery of Umidigi S3 Pro, F1, F1 Play or F2 phones to my Umidigi Power phone ? If your resarch was correct,it works well.But I don't know... I only repaired F2.It's worth a try. Just make sure the connector is the correct shape. Good luck.

@@user-yd6vy8rz2e I have no doubt that the voltage and ampere values are compatible. As you said, the only problem is in the connector connection that connects the battery to the motherboard. シールだけならホームセンターの両面テープを薄く2mm程度ハサミで切ったものでも対応できるよう様な気がします。専用品もあるかもしれませんがもともとF2は防水対応でもなく完璧なシールドは不要だし、こだわっても作業してもあまり意味がないような気がしますよ。両面テープで対応する場合は薄く切ったテープをカーブに合わせていくつか切れ込みを入れると端のアールに対応できますよ。廉価版のスマホはお金をかけずうまく修理して長持ちさせるのが得策となるでしょう。

うーむ。電源ボタンに温度を感じたことがないかも。。。いわゆるマザボの隣に接続されているボタンなので、充電しながらGPUを使うゲームをしたら熱を貰う可能性はアリ。

@@mouamouaoua さん、 ちらっとV4のプレイ動画を観てみたが、３Dのゲームですね。画面を見た限り、これは熱を持ちそうだと思う。電源ボタンだけじゃなくて10分もプレイしたらスマホの上側がほかほかになると思う。本当に熱いのは電源ボタンだけですか？

@@user-yd6vy8rz2e 電源ボタンの上の方が特に熱いですね、ただ単にあついだけじゃなくて痛いくらい熱い、指紋認証も機能しないです。

@@mouamouaoua さん、痛いくらい熱いなら話は変わってきて。それは使わんほうがいいよ。火事になるリスクもあるしハード的にあぶねえやつだ。自分の端末では3DゲームのPUBGをしてもそんなことはない。触れないほど熱いっなら内部でショートしている可能性があると思う。外国の製品だから対応を真摯にしてくれるか不安かもしれないけどメーカーのためにも自分のためにも一回報告して対応を待ってみてはどうだろう？
