Thanks for this video. My son had bent the ipad case in half and i used your video primarily to be able to get inside and clean up the food that came in through gaps in the screen. Then without the LCD inside the metal case I put two stacks of cardboard and used a hair dryer to heat the case and bend it by hand slowly with an oven mitt. Thanks for posting. Turned out amazing. Also changed my sons flex cable microphone and works great again.

Great repair! What is the UV Glue called? And can this also be used for the home button bracket on iPad 8/9 etc. Models?

It is uv curing craft glue and yes!

This is not hard to repair if you do it carefully. iPad 9 and 8 and every iPad is very similar. It just requires experience for the most part and patience.

Makes me cringe when I see people using Isopropyl alcohol to loosen the adhesive. First, it can seep between the LCD layers also other parts and ruin it. Second, applying more heat (I always use 100C on a digital heat plate) to soften the adhesive for easy disassembly. Just my 2cents.
