Hey bro, you are doing a great job. First I was sceptical because of the video quality and the accent, and therefore underestimated your teaching skills. No, palindromic sequence is any type of sequence that will be same as upstream or downstream, but recognition sequence is a sequence which helps enzyme to recognise the restriction site, to be noted a restriction site may not always have palindromic sequence.

swarna sayana mostly one recognition site is the best for cloning or else the cloning process is much more complicated...Good day

1/4^n ..it's the formula for finding frequencies..n is the number of bases in the recognition sequence..for example, if some Restriction enzyme cuts a 4 base sequence, then the frequency of the sequence/site will be 1/4^4 .
