Words just fail me in appreciation of this unique upload Suman ji ! And ofcourse, we are truly grateful to Jamal Rashdi sb, for giving another rare gift to the Mehdi Hassan sahab's music lovers, by sharing this rare recording of Khan sb's live performance in a private mehfil ! Another spell binding live performance from his multitudinous repertoire of music . The very tender poetry rendered as gently in such a soft and soothing voice, that the softness of his voice was just diluting in the soul ! His singing is divine, drifts me from the lowest to the highest level of ecstasy and soothes my frayed nerves ! The heart touching poetry penned by Krishan Adeeb, rendered so mellifluously by Khan sb, just makes you feel alive in the world of music 🎶 His passion is visible in the rendition of the heart melting lyrics of this ghazal ...Jab bhi aati hai terii yaad kabhi shaam ke baad ...Aur badh jaati hai afsurdaadilii ...... Intense in depth and expression of emotions through words and rendition . And the yearning for the beloved is so painfully portrayed in these couplets ....Yuu.N to har lamha, terii yaad ka bojhal guzraa ...Dil ko mahsoos huyi teri kami, shaam ke baad ... @@hmahmood81 Dear. There is only ( dha) tiver sur in this scale all other sur are komal exept ( dha) or if you just replace ( Ga) from tiver to komal sur in raag Aheer bhairav it will convert into this raag ( Aheeri Todi).

Thank you Sumanji! Aap toh aap ka standard khud hi exceed kar rahe hai! Bahut Shukriya aur ek behtareen ghazal sunane ke liye. Sath mein Peer Baksh Sahib ka tabla bahut anand diya mujhe. Toh hum jo bol rahe the......hum Khan Sahib Mehdi Hassan ko koi ek fankar aur artiste nehi mante hain......kyun ki bahot sare fankar aur artiste ko hum sun chuke hai. Kuch fankar bahut hi expressive hoke gaate the.....toh kuch fankar sangeet ke bhav ke anusar usmein chitrakalpa ka ankan karte the. Un sabhi fankaron ko sanmanpurbak bol raha hoon......Khan Sahib sirf aur sirf ek GAYAK the.....ek ASHCHARYA GAYAk.!......jinko koi bhi human emotion ko chitrit karne ke liye sirf ek hi tareeka pata tha....SUR ki bishudhata. Weh sirf sur ke murchhana se hi shrotaon ko sanmohit kar dete the.....aur sabhi shrotaon sur se ghayal ho jate the. Khan sahib singing ka baki sab aspect chhorke jaise sirf apna musical finesse ko istemaal karte the....aisa shayad duniya mein kisi aur fankar mein dekha nehi gaya. Na jane kaise gandharvlok se is ashcharya gayak manushyalok mein aa gaye....aur 2012 mein Jannat ke liye guzar gaye!
