This takes me back to Feb. 24,of this year. I saw AA at the Resurrection tour. At SoDo show box in Seattle. I was with my best friend Nico, his mom,and his friend Shae. it was just Ben And Danny on stage,as Ben played the acoustic guitar. The whole room was so quiet, you could hear a pin drop. Everyone was waving their lights, and I was fucking crying from the passion in Danny's voice. I remember seeing people hugging their friends and lovers, and I hugged my friend Nico, and I swear Nothing else has ever felt more like Family and Home. I still sometimes wish I could turn back time and relive it all. That was truly the most perfect day of my life. Listening to this now,It still makes me cry. This is my favorite song of all time. The reason I favor this song so much,is because when this album came out,and I heard this song,I was in such a dark place with my mental health & with my family. I felt so alone and misunderstood. This song made me feel hope, when I was starting to think there was none left. For the first time,in a very very long time,I felt understood. It felt like Danny was a friend, telling me everything would be okay in due time, and that lifted a huge weight off my shoulders. When I saw them in February, with my best friend Nico,I was coming out of that bad place, and I was improving with my mental health. My best friend Nico held my hand and hugged me and told me everything was okay now,and that he was proud of me,as Danny and Ben played Vultures. That was the happiest moment in my life. This song will forever hold a very special place in my heart. Ever since that day,I've considered it,My song. I'm so thankful for AA,and all the inspiration they continue to give me,when times get rough.

Is it time to close my eyes? [Verse 2] Keep me numb, I'll follow direction A pawn to pass around and be bled until I'm dry It's hard to see what's underneath Is it me? Is it me? [Chorus] Where do I turn? Everywhere I look, these vultures burn the life right outta me Do I run or lay down and die? Is it time to close my eyes? [Bridge] For so long all I've known, all I've seen's green lights Fuck your greed, all I need's somewhere To catch my breath, rest my head and ease my mind I've been holding on, but my grip ain't what it used to be I'm much older, I'm bitter, I'm jaded, I'm lost Can somebody give me a sign? [Chorus] Where do I turn? Everywhere I look, these vultures burn the life right outta me Do I run or lay down and die? Is it time to close my eyes? Where do I turn? Everywhere I look, these vultures burn the life right outta me Do I run or lay down and die? Is it time to close my eyes?

Damn... I love this! So much meaning in this clip I can't even! Is it just me or...? Danny is being controlled by the music industry. He's in pain but everybody's so hypnotized by his music that they don't see he's begging for help (the kids with the headphones). Then there's this girl, I'm guessing someone who means something to him, maybe a girlfriend or something that actually sees his pain but then, the music hypnotizes her as well. On his path to self destruction he brings down the whole band (we see them follow him and end up caged). Eventually they all end up pissed off, mad (at him maybe) and screaming but not Ben tho. I looove it! Since he was always the one pushing him towards rehab, always by his side. Then he finally breaks free and falls through what seems like a time warp and ends up in the final scene from "Into the fire" and the vultures catch him again. I FUCKING LOVE IT!!! ALSO, this song is not new! Theres old clips of Danny singing this song. It's been written for years... Just to think he's been holding this masterpiece for so long and to know he's been feeling like this for years, it's heartbreaking... I hope he finally finds the happiness he deserves. Still a fan after all these years, thanks AA for being such a big part of my teen years and now my adult life ❤
