Strongest MCR vibes with this one, the details to the costumes and the set is god tier. Felt like I was being taken on a trip through a Tim Burton film. Also Remington's striped outfit reminds me of Sweeney Todd's outfit in the beach scene in the movie. 😂😂

"Fever Dream" blew me away in an entirely brand new way that I honestly never expected from this band. For their entire musical career as a band, Palaye Royale has been famous for their dark and edgy rock music that portrayed and vented the violent anger and sadness surrounding us all in this world. But for the first time ever, their "Fever Dream" was sung with a hint of hope and comfort in its lyrics and melody. From its uncharacteristically quiet intro where Remington softly reminded us to "Close your eyes and exit life tonight / You'll be just fine, you'll be alright / It's time we start escaping," to the encouraging "Take my hand to Neverland, you'll see / We can be free, we can be anything / Just you and me / Fever Dream / The lights are fading," this is amazing on a whole different level and I just can't get enough. There's something magical and reassuring about hearing such hopeful lyrics from a band that spent years dwelling in the darkest corners of humanity. They didn't fill their song with the "positive bs," but instead mixed hope into reality through their familiar singing (or screaming for about half the song, as per usual

This song is magic. But all of the Fever Dream era songs thus far have been one hit after another. Raw, vulnerable, aching… you expose all of yourselves for us. That is one of the many things that set you apart from the rest and in the opinion of your fans - puts you high above the rest. The appreciation you show your fans is only matched by the appreciation we have for you. Thank you for the gift of your music.

I'm no lyricist and I have no idea where in Palaye Royale's souls this song came from, but I can tell y'all that this got me in the feels in the best way. Something about it is really comforting me and helping me cope with the feelings I've struggled to swallow lately about my dad's cancer battle. He has stage 4 of a rare aggressive cancer that is metastatic. Things were looking up in the face of only a 17% survival rate for this type, but then last week a new metastases was found in his brain and now everything is up in the air again. Those are rough feelings to sort out, and something about this song just really put my mind at ease and reminded me that it's okay to have all these conflicting emotions and take my time processing them. So Thanks a million for this gem.

Fever Dream has quickly become one of my favorite Palaye songs. It starts softly, like a lullaby, so soothing and comforting, and then becomes this powerful rock anthem with absolutely beautiful chorus and epic Queen-style guitar solos. Love it. The lyrics are so poetic. The line "Tell me how it's fair to put a loved one underground" is just brilliant. It so elegantly expresses grief and sorrow and frustration. Most of us know how it feels to lose someone very dear, and it never ever seems fair. Despite that the song leaves a sense of hope. "We can be anything and everything we want to be if we believe" - simple and powerful.

Usually when I watch a new music video when it comes out I watch it once and go to sleep because it releases at midnight but with this one I watched it twice it became an instant favorite along with the song itself. This became my new favorite music video and I can’t wait to see how the rest of the album will be 🖤

I appreciate how fondly y'all sound when speaking about Fever Dream. When an artist sounds this excited about something they've created, it makes us fans feel that you as artists have put in a huge amount of passion, time and hard work into creating a piece of art. I'm so damn proud of y'all for creating this amazing song! ❤

谢谢你们总是温柔的触摸着我内心最柔软的地方。 由衷的感谢、喜爱与尊敬。 今天早上有了抑郁情绪,AM推荐了这首歌给我,就微笑了。 Thank you for always gently touch the softest part of my heart. Thanks, love and respect from the deep of my heart. Apple Music recommended this song when I feel depressed and not well, and I just smiled.

Its been a while since the algorithm suggested something that I love. You guys remind me A LOT of Poets of the Fall with intelligent, thoughtful and emotional lyrics, with a sound and videos that are incredibly cinematic. A show with both you guys would be fucking insane!

Okay guys, I'll be honest. This is the most amazing song I have ever heard. You've done a great job again. I am happy and very proud because this is a fucking masterpiece. Remington's voice is amazing as always, and Emerson and Sebastian did a perfect job. I love the solo, the chorus and the energy of the song, it gave me a mental breakdown. Shit, a fucking catchy song! And the music video is also perfect, it matches the song, it looks like you worked a lot on it, so congratulations to you guys and to all the contributors. This band is a incarnate miracle and I am glad to know you, these three wonderful brothers. Your music has saved me from many things. And now I can be the proudest person in the world. All I can say is thank you. Love you all. And...can't wait for the full album!

Close your eyes and exit life tonight You'll be just fine, you'll be alright It's time we start escaping Fever Dream, the lights are fading Don't look around At all the faces abound Don't look behind you 'Cause we are stuck underground Can you see the words I'm up here trying to preach No need to cry You'll never find me trying to leave 'Cause I see that you're in pain From your pale and lifeless face So let go and float away Let go, let go, let go and Close your eyes and exit life tonight You'll be just fine, you'll be alright It's time we start escaping Fever Dream, the lights are fading Take my hand to Neverland, you'll see We can be free We can be anything, just you and me Fever Dream, the lights are fading I can't hear a sound I see the world upside down Tell me how it's fair To put a loved one underground Now can you see the words I'm up here trying t preach No need to cry, don't say goodbye I'll see you on the other side I'll see you on the other side And I see that you're in pain From your pale and lifeless face So let go and float away Let go, let go, let go Close your eyes and exit life tonight You'll be just fine, you'll be alright It's time we start escaping Fever Dream, the lights are fading Take my hand to Neverland, you'll see We can be free We can be anything, just you and me Fever Dream, the lights are fading Follow me into this Fever Dream We can be anything and everything we want to be If we believe Letting go of what we used to know We can be anything and everything Just follow me into this Fever Dream Into this Fever Dream Close your eyes and exit life tonight You'll be just fine, you'll be alright It's time we start escaping Fever Dream, the lights are fading Take my hand to Neverland, you'll see We can be free We can be anything, just you and me Fever Dream, the lights are fading Follow me into this Fever Dream We can be anything and everything we want to be If we believe Letting go of what we used to know, oh woah oh Fall asleep and make believe with me We're gonna be alright So close your eyes, just say goodnight

Everything about this song is exceptional. The vocal delivery, the lyrics, the chord progression, the guitar solo. Watching the music video feels like listening to it for the first time again and grasping the emotions put into the song. It’s a beautiful cinematic experience as Palaye music videos usually are, very aesthetically pleasing. It’s Fever Dream circus time 🎪

i started crying as the video/song started 🖤🤍🖤 I am at a low point in life and really struggling with heavy decisions . This song really brought out so much hope that i never thought i had in me . I have been a Council Member for so long and seeing you guys throughout the years and being where you are now makes me feel sooooo proud of you . You never cease to amaze me 🤍🖤 If anyone seeing this needs a reminder of how wonderful and special you are to the world -- this is for you . Never give up . You have made it this far and I am very proud of you . 🤍🖤🤍 Dont give up . You are worth much more than to be in the ground so soon . Brush the dirt off and stand proudly for you are worthy of a life . 🤍🖤🤍🖤
