This whole film reminded me immediately to this quote from Dracula of Bram Stoker: “I am all in a sea of wonders. I doubt; I fear; I think strange things, which I dare not confess to my own soul.” Remington has the ability to bring tears to my eyes without letting me know if those tears are for the sadness, the intensity, the beauty or the heaviness of the feeling he makes me feel. Sebastian's glances made me wonder if he actually came from another era, he belongs to those times like he belongs to the music. Emerson gave me chills, his presence is absudrly cathartic in the film and i don't even know why. Superb, amazing, great job. WELL DONE BOYS.

This was beautifully orchestrated. The Renaissance Era costumes were elegant. The vampires are the personification of darkness. The characters are so in depth in such a short video, Sebastian (Frederick) has no empathy, hes a pure killer, no remorse. Emerson (Alan) is a quiet, dormant being, but becomes a silent killer when hungry. Remington (Aldous) is so remorseful, but drowning in his vampirism, and in the end is destroyed by it. @@abhijithnair767 I will do my best, as I have POTS and cognitive clarity is difficult to grasp most days. This quote is from Interview with the Vampire, spoken by the outrageously morally superior Armand. Immortality is a delusion of the vampire persona but they all claim immortality none the less. They all believe that they are always what they are and the Dark Gift doesn’t change who they fundamentally are. As Lestat later says of the old ones once telling to him, “none of us really changes over time, we only become more fully what we are.” IWTV was penned by our beloved, morose as fuck, Louis-his point of view, which is always on the dramatic and tragic side. He’s the most human and utterly damaged of the group of vampire. For Louis in particular, this (false idea of) immortality is seen as staunchly immutable. He lived a broken man and died the same way. Goes on in such a way, set in his ways, unable to change-to even conceive of change. He mustn’t change and should suffer for the sin of being what he is, as he had in life. Indeed, all of the vampires seem rather set in their ideological and emotional state from when they died a human and were given the Dark Gift. Their principles (especially how they view themselves as a person) remained fixed in a time long past as the world at large around them is yet ever-changing, mutable and dangerously superstitious. Constantly learning and evolving, sometimes in staggering ways. As for relation to the video, I took Remy’s destruction being born of the changing world around this ageless creature, a world that believes in their existence--ultimately fearing it and finding the strength to do something about it. These beings are undead and must kill to live, some ruthlessly, unapologetically (like Seb and Em). Perhaps they were ruthless before death, but I think it was their vampire nature that made them… not evil, but certainly not good and allowed them to embrace more fully those destructive traits they might have had in life (much like Lestat). And Remy (suffered conscious as dear Louis had and) died because he retained his human sentiments about precious life. He didn’t revel in the death of others, in fact he grieved for it despite its necessity and paid with his life in the end. The good-hearted, unchanged monster destroyed by the cruel, ever-changing world. Or I could just be full of shit and my POTS brain is stupid. /shrug

@@motherd1858 Not at all 🤣 I'm a big believer that people want to never die but forget to live. Have you ever seen or read the Disney movie Tuck Everlasting if not it is such a good example! Here is a quote from the movie/book "Don't be afraid of death; be afraid of an unlived life. You don't have to live forever, you just have to live." I grew up in a family who has never been afraid of death. Our literal moto is "If I did, I die." We are all placed on this earth in this exact moment to do something. We can either do it or die before we get it done. I would like to just to accomplish my fate before my time runs out.

okay so like, theory. the persons who killed Remington worked for lieseil inc. and they watched the house coz they suspected the boys to be vampires. they seemed to be right, and killed rem cause he was seen at the body of someone, with blood all over his collar. but, em and seb ran off and hid(I suppose). we also saw the body fo the woman who was "killed" open her eyes, so she wasn't dead. maybe she was the vampire and lieseil killed the wrong one. just a thought, I might edit it when I notice more when I watch the video again! EDIT: someone pointed out, lieseil inc wasn't a thing back then, I just tought of that. so lieseil is immortal? EDIT 2: we saw Emerson and Sebastian also kill their dance partners, which means they are vampires too. Maybe they pointed lieseil to rem and said he was a vampire, so they wouldn't get catched?
