Twitter tards always assumed Sumeru is based on India and that all of the characters should be dark skinned, but they forgot that it a mixed inspiration of Persia, Iran, India, Egypt, etc. Even when this is brought up, they are still under the impression Iranians are dark skinned, ultimately saying they are unconsciously racist.

So just a fun thing to note about Cyno being called General Mahamatra, it means an Officer of High Rank. They were officers of morality and inspectors of justice and dharma during Emperor Ashoka's reign in India. My Sankrit knowledge is quite weak but I think, about Greater Lord Rukkhadevata, Rukkhadevata means Tree-Goddess (deva for males and devata for females) or Tree Spirit and Akasha means Sky or Space. Also Amurta (/Amurt) means like abstract, intangible, etc. I'm curious to see how all this will play into the lore. I'm kinda excited that some Indian history and some aspects of Hindu mythology made it into Sumeru😆 If I got anything wrong, please feel free to correct me😊

Btw need to noticed that Al Haitam is probably the counterpart of Su from Honkai Impact 3rd. Su have his pupil Major Red and Minor green while Al Haitam eyes pupil is Major Green and Minor red.

You can actually see Alhaitham's Vision for a second on the very right of the screen, and it looks like a Dendro Vision. And of course, you can see Dehya's Pyro Vision on her. Cyno has what looks like a polearm on the ground next to him, and it looks really interesting, almost like ancient technology instead of a normal weapon.

I honestly don't understand why they do that. In my opinion, making characters with fake animal features is pretty stupid, since it makes the character look kinda silly and gives players a wrong impression. Like Keqing for example, I simply cannot like those things on her hair, I think her design would look way better without the fake cat ears or if the cat ears were at least real.

Although we don't know for sure yet, I think the ''can't dream'' part likely refers to literally dreaming when you're asleep, hence the whole current Archipelago event's mirages, dreams and Kusanali showing up (you might have seen the dendro vision showing up briefly in the air when Kusanali spoke to you in that phone call.)
