6:38 I remember my first time in co-op, where some people joined my world and did the Anemo Hypostasis with me. When the drops were on the floor, I was like reluctant for them to pick it up- I never knew that the materials were just for me😭 24:27 A lot of players before 1.2 (Including me) tried to take a shortcut through Dragonspine- that was pain. Trying to walk that way a thousand times and getting lost before realizing that you have to go around Dragonspine was torture 💀

We're almost at 4.0 and that's still crazy to me. As a 1.0 player, this brings back a lot of memories; however, strangely enough, the first thing that comes to mind to me in 1.0 is Xiangling's infamous bell sound that played during her walk/running animation that got removed in 1.1 -- I didn't even know it was an issue to a lot of people. Speaking of 1.1, I am also one of those OG pre-buff Zhongli mains that got kicked and bullied out of co-op; back then, when people kick you out of the team, the game says, "You have been kicked." Ouch 😂

"Sending characters into expedition make them unplayable in-game" --TRUE! This was what made me stay far away from expedition because I didn't have many characters back then. I was surprised when I came back and found that I can use the characters I put on expedition, and I thought that maybe my memory was just faulty. I never figured they changed it while I was away. EDIT: IDC what ya'll say. DILUC IS STILL S-TIER FOR ME. Him and Kaeya were and still are some of my and my sibling's favorite. Screw meta. Takes away the fun in the game.

My mindset still the same from 1.0 which is to coop with me and making friends. My set of friends from 1.0 is different from now. Some already left, some sold their account and the account was used by other person. I still halpve half of my friendlist that 31 days not active. The friend who invite me to play with... already sold their account and I still friend with that account even it is someone else. I miss her...

When I started Genshin, I was wondering how people got characters. So I got the starters and was so happy I have a full team. I met Jean and Diluc and rushed through Mondstadt’s archon quests and I went from “I can’t wait to finish so I can get Diluc and Jean” to “why am I not getting them” to “oh… I have to wish for them” 😂

16:22 About the “free 5 star”, Genshin is the only mobile game I know doesn’t have a “pick-up” system for their permanent banner… every single other mobile game I know have a somewhat system to boost the permanent banner rate. Either something like after certain pulls you can choose a 5 star character from the permanent banner or a selected rate up for the character you want during the new year event from the permanent banner. Ohh.. even Star Rail have that for permanent banner😂

I remember the game releasing way back in 2020 and I never got to try it simply because I though that the game was only for mobile. I really wanted to try the game but it took me a year to find out that it was cross-platform available since release. I was so mad that I wasn't able to join the hype and pain of day 1 players. The amount of missed events stories and weapons just makes me sad. I made a vow not to repeat the same mistake so I joined Star Rail on release

I was there when the pre-reg is still at 500k. Chest respawns. Killing Unusual Churls drop primos (wei is the name that time) literally spent couple of hours just to download and update the game no compress resins, no healer so you have to stock-up foods (and wait for your char "puke-meter" to cooldown. and the artifact and boss drops... good time..

My Genshin Account is actually from the 29th of September 2020. But I only played for a month or 2 and then quit the game again because I didn’t have a proper device to play the game on. So I just remember the very early stuff from the first month of Genshin, like the 120 resin cap and the expidition thing. I hated that. I never used that feature in the early days because I had so little characters that I just couldn’t afford it because I wouldn’t be able to play while also doing expeditions. Ngl I avoided that feature even after I came back because I didn’t know that they had changed it. Everything after that very early stuff I never actually saw and tbh I forgot a lot of stuff too. I came back in March of 2022 to see what changed but quit again only to come back in December of 2022. Have been playing ever since December semi regularly. Maybe every 2nd day if you count the days I’ve been playing this year.

Chest respawn is IIRC because there was either glitch or what but some people got TWO chests from the top of Favonius HQ. IIRC me included. Like real "but I WAS there" moment. PS. Like IIRC I climbed HQ BEFORE entering it. Telling me that I somehow missed gold chest there to receive it later? Nah, I don't believe it.

just a funny input on chests respawning there is actually exactly ONE precious chest that respawns LOL many people dont know the real reason but itd be funny if there are people who still dont know to this day its respawnable if youre wondering which and why, its the precious chest on the hilichurl throne south in dadaupa gorge, and it respawns because an identical chests is spawned by the archon quest which despawns the original chests and after you take it then the original one respawns

Bc I was used to so less xDD Also yeah pausing and unpausing the download to get it to load again. It was totally a thing. Funny enough I played since Genshin 1.0 and I didn't even realize I was considered "lucky" I just wanted to play a game that looked *anime*. To be fair, coming back to replay games like KH with mods and randomizers isnt the point. They're simply not made with that intention. Genshin and Star Rail are LITERALLY made with the intention to stagger content and keep you hooked for the long term, so you keep having a reason to come back and play/spend without being burnt out on the story. Safe to say, we all have experienced burnout on genshin though. After you do the Archon quest in the first week and can only play with your resin until the next big expansion 😢

I have to say, I don't understand the hate for Barbara. I only used Barbara in Dragonspine and I was immortal, nothing could stop her. She had always to be part of the team. I could completly ignored the freez mechanic and sometimes walked and fought minutes with the freez meter maxed out. The only annoying thing was the visual effect. So many ppl are missing on her, the secret is to build her right. No wonder some call her Barbruh (just google it^^). And MHY is still nervering her, yes, with 3.8 she got nerved :D The only reason I don't use her anymore regullary, I got Kokomi as soon as she came out, Kokomii has a better hydro application. Instead I build Barbara to DPS to bully pyro cube :D

The pity is not different on wvedy banner. It's 90 for 100% on character and standard, and like 70 or 80 on weapon banner. But very rarely does anyone reach those max chances before getting a 5*

No matter how much say genshin is bad and all... I feel like I been with genshin long enough to feel the nostalgia. I may take long breaks from playng and stuff but I still at the end of the day once a month atleast go on genshin, maybe just to hear the awesome theme's in this game or the scenery and seeing my characters. Its so fun... The only thing I wish was to maybe let us have a pet like Surush but we could use them everywhere.
