Sumidero Canyon is such a breathtaking destination! It filled us with wonder and at the same time sadness to see the struggles it has with conservation. Have you been to Sumidero?

Stunning!Thank you for being honest about the pollution problem. So many You Tube Videos pretend everywhere they go is perfect. It is good to make people aware that work needs to be done.

Thanks for watching! I agree, a lot of people don't like to look at the ugly side of things. It definitely earns me some angry comments at times, but hiding it does everyone a disservice.

This is a gold mine of a channel haha, exploring beauty of our often forgotten southern friends (as an American). Incredible, viva Mexico!

Chiapas is the southernmost state in the country of Mexico and is still quite a hidden gem. If you’re looking to escape the crowds of Yucatan, you’ll find Chiapas way more authentic and less touristy.

this is such a lovely boat ride, the mountains are so beautiful and they look quite similar to the natural scenery of Vietnam, great video thanks for sharing 👍

It looks like a beautiful green area, like a small jungle with its wildlife, (sad because of the garbage in the river 😢). The national park seems a cool place to disconnect from the day to day.

Yes the garbage was sad to see, but despite that it's a neat place for sure!

We did the canyon with the boat ride, but didn't drive the rim. Wish we had. Thanks again for showing me. The trash we saw was definitely a sad thing to see. The world needs to do a better job of taking care or our planet.

the sinkhole canyon looks spectacular, the mountains and how you travel in the boat to appreciate all the flora and fauna. but it is too deep to swim and the forest is too big to lose you.

How is all the garbage getting into the water? Are tourists throwing it out from the boats? Or is it being washed out from the inner towns with the rain waters?😢

Storm drains empty into the river from the nearby city of Tuxtla Gutierrez.
