PLEASE NOTE: In the video there is a spoken error regarding the amount of yarn needed. For this project you will need approximately 2000 yards of a medium/worsted weight yarn. I apologize for the confusion!

I have this video, (and many others), saved by you. I’m very grateful for these free videos that teach people like me. I was an orphan, and First learned to crochet in the group homes. So very grateful for these free tutorials

I saw this tutorial a couple months ago and immediately started making the blanket and then I went back to tag it and I couldn't find it ...until today. Thank you for this pattern. I love it.

You've gone and done it yet again Sarah! I told my DIL yesterday that I was looking for a lightweight throw for the upcoming spring weather. Since moving to Oregon my body has reversed it's tolerance for the temps. This is perfect and easy!

Thank you. I was looking for something like a granny but not so open and not all DC. This looks to be perfect.

Beautiful pattern. I think this would be a great pattern to continue to teach my granddaughter how to crochet. Maybe turn it into a pillow cover. Thank you! Wonderful tutorial!

The single chain in the odd row corners really helps the project stay even. Other patterns usually have two chains in odd corners, which ends up (for me, at least) making a wonky square. Thanks! I’m sure you’ve saved many of us from frustration with this project. 😀

This throw is georgous. Love the design, coloway, and how the throw drapes. I want to make one in the same fiber you made it in. In the mean time I started one in a mandala ombre fiber, and love it. Thank you for sharing your design with us!

Hi ! This is a beautiful blanket! I’m a bit confused about the yarn. Was this an older version of the Cotton Cake? Because the Cotton Cakes I’m seeing at Michael have over 400 yards.
