I am working at a camp similar to camp I am special, except its a day camp. This will be my first time working there, but I know an Autism family that has really benefited from the camp. I am so happy to finally be working for them, and to help autism families be able to have that respite time.

I came from the UK in 2010 to work at a special ed camp in Connecticut! I was 18 and had never been away from home, we worked with children and adults with a range of disabilities including Autism and I have never learnt so much! It was the best summer ever and I now work at a learning mentor for kids with Autism!

What a great bunch of kids at the camp. They look so dedicated and so mature for their years. Warms the heart to see our future generation who will carry on the message of everyone is included in our world. Abbie will always be in safe hands with Isiah, Summer and Becca for the rest of her life. That kinda sounds like what my Camp does, but it's more for kids who are in Foster, Adopted, kids who's have been Abused, Abandoned by the people they thought who loved them. We get trained to absolutely every situation. And a 2 adults with each other whenever you're with kids.
