You decided this summer to spend as much time camping as possible, and tonight you’re making good on this promise at one of your favorite spots, Frog Lake. In the spring, the lake is alive with fat little tadpoles that shimmy through your fingers when you put your hands in the water. By this time in the summer, the tadpoles are all grown up and a choir of frogs serenades your campsite as you build a little fire and prepare your marshmallows for roasting. The fir and pine needles that carpet the ground are sunbaked and fragrant, and cool pockets of fresh-smelling air drift over you from the surface of the lily pad-studded lake. Just for fun, you’ve brought a Bigfoot spotting guide to pore over with your flashlight in the tent. You’re not sure if you believe in that kind of thing, but you never know. Hey Calmed! I have been thinking of a few screensaver ideas that would be amazing! I just want to recommend them no pressure, I love the scenes you pick out by the way. Anyway a few I have come up. Summer Scenes, 1, a pool, picture the summer sun beating down on you as you lay in the pool chair, the scent of chlorine fills the air and you feel the warm sun on your skin. You hear kids jumping and having fun in the summer sun. 2, a lake. Lounging on the dock as you listen to the few occasional boats pass by. Or you could take the different approach and do the screensaver from the view of a docked boat. 3, the view from a restaurant (maybe seafood) overlooking the gentle waves on the shore. Bonus one I would absolutely love is an amusement park that would be about the coolest thing EVER!

Nice sound balance. Able to turn volume down low and just hear the crackling camp fire, intermittent distant hoot of an owl and drift off. The visuals are subtly gorgeous. Lighting is easy on the eyes. The detail is as usual impressive. They fire..the dusk night sky as the stars are twinkling as in a dream. Understated summer ambience. Bravo!

Love the owl in the mountain! And the UFO!! What a super-fun touch. The twinkling stars, the realistic, mesmerizing flames. And the birds flying by... I keep waiting to see if one of the frogs will jump off a lily pad, but I have to get back to work. I'll just listen. Wow, the camping scene including a UFO has always been a childhood drawing I always did. As a kid I loved camping, and I always fantasized with camping at a hill that was close to the beach. I would have my girlfriend, a tent with all the camping stuff, a van with more bedding stuff, with a nice fire, the moon, clouds with some night time lightning, and at the lower corner of the drawing I would always add a silent UFO, lol. Sure I'm happy to see that something similar to my childhood wish has been made into an ambience vid 😁❤

@@CalmedByNature we would go camping at a local man-made lake! we would stay in these huge pre-setup tents and cook most meals over the fire, but there was a main building that had an actual kitchen that you could use as well. i loved when it would get dark and everyone would sit around the campfire eating s'mores and hearing the sounds of crickets 🏕️🛶🏞️

Hey Calmed By Nature~ This is awesome! Having spent summers as a kid at my grandparents' lake house, this feels incredibly familiar! And brings back fantastic memories. So much fun! For the past 3-yrs or so my family and I have taken a camping trip during Labor Day weekend. It's a much needed escape, trust me and a nice way to cap off yhe end of summer. The campground is tucked in the NC Mountains right off the Blue Ridge Parkway. At night you fall asleep to the sounds of crickets and campfires crackling. In the morning the sunlight glistens through the canopy as smole from the fire floats through the trees. People are out walking their dogs, drinking coffee and slowly getting their day started. It's a charming community of campers and children having fun and taking life one S'More at a time. 💜🔥🏕️🦉

Sounds like a fantastic way to end the summer. I usually depict these isolated campsite scenes like this to give a peaceful feel but I also really enjoy the environment of aa campground with families, kids, lots of campfires, etc. Each year for Labor Day weekend my family would go to the Oregon coast for a large family reunion and it had a similar feeling of one last big even to cap off the summer. Going home on the Monday was always hard because that meant school started the next day 😂
