I am not lying. Looking back, this festival was literally a spiritual pilgrimage for me. We drove over 11 hours to be there. I felt so renewed and validated once we were.

I cried even though (or maybe exactly because) I wasn't one of those twentytwo thousand beating hearts. This must have been so beautiful, emotional and cathartic for them! I hope I will get to see at least some of those artists on their European tours. To everybody who has the chance, go to Eaux Claires and feel emotionally full for me too

This was one of the best summers of my pretty long life and our weekend at Eaux Claires was near the top of the list of the season's great experiences. The mix of sun, sky, river, music, beautiful people and Leinie's lights was unforgettable. This video captures it all and actually brought tears to our eyes. Thank you Justin for the music and Michael Perry for your words! We'll see you next August. It is indeed good to have music near a river.

The funniest part about the inaugural Eaux Claires occurred at about an hour before Bon Iver was set to come on. I heard 5 different people around me mention Kanye in their conversations. I understand why it would have been minutely possible but the fact that that small rumor was spreading fast was just so funny. Maybe next year Justin?

+Gabriel Douglas thanks for the input! for the complimentary food and wine/beer, is it unlimited or is there a cap to it? i could swing the money upfront now knowing i have unlimited food and drinks come festival time and not have to worry about packing any of that stuff.

didn't see food last year. but utilized that beer & wine A LOT ( aka - unlimited. ) You could also use your Chippewa pass at any beer /wine vendor on Saturday. We still had stuff at our camp, but once inside the grounds, we were taken care of in terms of drinks. There's a great chill area too with some VIP performances.
