I was just in the ER for this summer’s Covid. I woke up unable to move my left arm with pain from the shoulder to my fingertips. Then a headache exploded! I’ve never experienced a headache this severe in my life. Crying from the pain didn’t help. I tried taking fluids and a Tylenol with violent vomiting. I finally went to the ER after hours of pain and the inability to keep an aspirin down. I was unable to tolerate the pain anymore. I vomited several more times on the way. With the congestion, the pain and the terrible vomiting, it was hard to breath. They had me wait for hours until I started feeling pain and tightness in my chest, my back, and my neck. They tried to do a neurological exam but my eyes were so swollen, they wouldn’t open. I am 70 and it was no joke.
