I love bag charms, I have a collection, some of them are 10 and 15 yrs old. I buy fabrics that can be worn all year round. 95% of my clothing can be worn 365 dys. As I've gotten older, this is important, it keeps me from spending foolishly and not wearing clothing that I've purchased. I will carry a suede clutch in summer, if I'm feeling it. It's my personal style. For me, everything has its moment, not a season. The crickets are having their moment,🦗

Oh I love that straw bag and the other ones you showed, the cylinder shape, reminded me a a leather bag I bought in Greece, same shape, back in the early eighties. 🙂 I have been using straw bags for years, way into the fall. I love the straw bags and the local charms that have a meaning for you. My mesh shoes are packed for my trip to NYC so we are on the same page with that as well as suede. I have a suede bag that will be on rotation starting in September. As for chocolate brown having a moment I am loving it as an alternative to black which I rarely if ever wear. I've been putting charms on my bags for years. Those crickets are so loud they sound like cicadas! I live in GA, so I'll be wearing my open-toed shoes until the end of Sept. because it'll still be summer here. 😅 I love the jewelry. I'm ready to make a trip to St. Lucia. I used to have two suede skirts that hit me right above the knee. You couldn't tell me anything when I wore them. But, if you gain an ounce, they have absolutely no give!!

So that crickets or tree frogs making all that noise it has a musicality to the sound that I have heard in island rhythms, if I am not mistaken. We have cicadas and they are so loud you can't even hear yourself think (live in the suburbs close to rural areas) but does not disturb my sleep. I bet It would take me awhile to get use to the street sounds of New York at night. I would record the sweet sounds to have during your meditation moments. I am already starting to pull cardigans out and light weight knits because we had chilly temps and rain here that required a light jackets or sweaters. No, this not helpful to me but it still thumbs up only because I been a student of yours for a while. My daughter's birthday is August 26th. Happy blessed birthday Karen.
