Nice match, a bit of an upset as at least I thought Dove was probably going to win. I have a couple of points Ben, move 13 of Skippy in the second game that you criticised, I think his move was definitely better than your suggestion, but a stronger move was taking the whole stack and moving up to c5, leaving nothing behind on c3 and just one white on c4, which just immediately leads to a road on move 14, I'm kind of surprised everyone missed that, and also you mis scored the match, as you counted Dove's remaining tiles rather than Skippy's and so I think he should have scored a few points less.

Wow you're right, counted wrong set of pieces, thanks for pointing that out! Didn't come down to the tiebreak though, and only a couple points difference. And good catch on the idea of 4c3+13, not something I saw live!

Should be 54 points, not 57. Not that it changes much. (You counted black's remaining pieces, not white's).

Yep thanks, Remendy Yem pointed that out too. I've corrected the tournament bracket, though yes, it doesn't change things.
